I never understood the whole 'snooze' concept. If you have time to hit the snooze button, you're waking up too early.

My alarm goes off at 5:00 am right now. I am usually up before it ever goes off, but sometimes it wakes me up. As soon as it goes off, I have to get up or I'll be pressed for time. Who the hell wants to wake up early just so they can hit snooze? I sleep until the last damn second.

I actually agree with you in theory macs... problem is, the me who wakes up at 6 am thinks you're an idiot... that guys got a mind of his own...

I had a job in my early 20's where I had to be up at 3am... i got rid of my electric snooze capable alarm clock and opted for one of those old timey wind up deals with the 2 bells on top and the hammer that goes crazy between them making a horrible racket until you wake up... i woke up one morning at 8 with my index finger jammed between one of the bells and the hammer... 8am me knew that was a stupid decision but 3am me thought it was brilliant...

I think the science backs me up on this one... something about sleep cycles, and such.

Macs... it don't work that way. See, the first wake, I hit the snooze and it prepares me for the next buzzer.

I don't actually remember hitting the snooze button, but I will actually wake up to my wife kicking the sh1t out of me because my alarm has been going off for 5 minutes.

We all have our methods man.

Anyway, today I didn't hit the snooze button... so I didn't get my ass kicked this morning... *yawn*

I build in time in the morning to self pleasure. The snooze is an insurance policy in case I feel sleepy afterwards

Big azz breakfast with my daughter before putting her on a plane "home". sniff sniff, when'd I become the one not off seeking adventure and my path in life?

Great young woman, understand why she and her husband left Kalifornia but hope it's not ten months until I see her again.

+1

Can't say I have ever hit the snooze button in my life. Dumb concept in my mind.

That sucks not having family close. Exactly why my wife and I haven't moved away. Feel like it would be too selfish. I know I would be upset if my kids moved away and I rarely got to see them and didn't get to see my grandkids grow up. That would be the worst.

Congrats, MACS! Mrs Monkey and I are also at 28, but only if you count the 7 years we were together prior to marrying.
