Once again, I've been hit. call an ambulance...Liberal down! HA!

Normally I'm good wif words, but I'm having difficulty catching my breath. Soon you'll understand.

Evidently Ron has no memory of previous over the top gifts he has sent me, so why should this time be any different?...except this was YUUUUGE, and unprovoked.

I'll make it quick (like that might evah happen):

Illegal smokes, all from boxes dating between 7 and 10 years ago. Ron, please correct any wrong vitolas.

H Up- coronas (not positive exact marca) x 2

RA- RASCC '08 x 5

Partagas- Shorts '07 (!) x 5
Super Partagas '08 x 3
P.C. Especiales '10 x 3

18 smokes. Over the top for slightly abnormal people to gift, no?

But Ron is not slightly abnormal, he is a very sick bastid, cuz all those cigars were surrounding a bottle of (never had this) North Texas Distillers (distilled in KY 90 proof) 1920 Prohibition Bourbon.

Say what you will, but Ron and I have had a most unlikely love affair going on for several years now...he's truly a trusted mentor, a generous friend, and a Patriots' fan to boot. What's not to love? HA!

Thank you my bruddah, a humbling experience for sure.
Frank

If you've ACTUALLY smooched Ron while dancing with him as he grabs your ass.....you'd KNOW there's something not quite right with him.

smooching skills, actually.

btw, I like that bourbon. had a nice thickness to it, slight sweetness up on the front of the tongue, pleasant and long spices on the back of the tongue and back of the throat.

Thanks Ron.

DAAAYYYUUUUMMMMMMM! That Ron sure is a swell guy!

Wonder if North Texas Distillers (distilled in KY 90 proof) 1920 Prohibition Bourbon is in any way related to Old Forester 1920, or just similar marketing...

Nick I wish I knew........I just happen to be in Dallas the day this came out.My guy called me,he got two cases and limited me to two bottles. The other is also earmarked so my two victims will have to fill me in as to its quality or lack thereof.I'm still on that list but rarely make it to Dallas these days.

#15 was from my initial pour. If that changes, I'll update, but I drank it neat and liked it.

It's always good to see frank get taken care of. He also likes happy endings, so the next guy should throw a flesh light in there... bonus points for not being used.
