I have noticed a few guys still active from 2000: madspackler, hoyodude, HockeyDad and tailgater. Are there any more senior CBid FOGs still alive and active?

kudos to you for your longevity...ThumpUp

edit, 6/20/17: add DrMaddVibe to the august 2000 club. Thanks SteveS...

madspackler's March, 2000 join date is the earliest of the group...

How many years do you have to be here to be considered a "Senior CBid FOG"?
I joined in 2004.

Oh good, I'm not a fog yet, thanks for clearing that up. Getting there, I only groan on the way down.

And Jane Fonda certainly is not in my spank bank so I think I'm good in that regard (who is she again?).

The forums opened in 2000, so 13 or 17... I'm still a teenager in a room full of toddlers. fog Herfing

Hard to believe though if I would have started posting when I first started reading on this site, I would have been here for 10 years.....

Shame on you Shame on you Shame on you

I remember buying cigars here in 98-99 at the earliest. The old server crashed and the start date reflect when that came back online.

Hell, I remember the site well and the wealth of information here to be gained by paying attention. Somewhere along the line the n00bs tried to take over and dumbed the place down. Now, its good for comic relief.

Of ALL the great deals I've done over the years, the ones that stand out in my mind are the Drew Estate MEDUSAs that I won early on in my tenure.
I would place bids on ALL the lots up for bid, (usually between 3 and 10 lots), and more often than not, walk away winning ALL of them for $3 per lot.
THOSE were the days !
The last time I saw them at my local, (probably 2 years ago), they were marked at $16.99 !

I now have just one box in my humi, thanks to our good brother kombat who gifted it to me a few years ago.

jes
