ESPN: Manny Paquiao fighting Aussie Jeff Horn.

Manny is 38. He is not what he once was. I'm still looking forward to a good fight. Young Aussie taking on a legend.

I really wish Mayrunner would have fought Paquiao in his prime. Also think Manny still has enough in the tank to drop Horn. Looking to see vintage Manny. We'll see....

Mayrunner..... Good stuff. Even with my limited knowledge of boxing, I understand that one.

Really? Free Boxing? Unbelieveable.

I've only watched probably 2 live fights in the last 25 years.

Guess boxing is tired of MMA kicking their ashe.

Manny let that kid man-handle him. It was ugly... but no way did that kid win.

That was a load of $#!%. I'm sure the judges got paid.

One of the judges, some chick I guess scored it 117 111.

Ridiculous.

They shìt on manny during the mayweather fight too. It should be about who has the most devastating blows not who can slap you like a fairy 100 times.

Nice to see boxing has rid itself of corruption.

I'll give the sport another chance in another decade.

I loved the ref going to the corner and saying "I'm here to protect you". But Horn did gather himself after that.

I thought Manny won the fight, at least by a 2/1 split decision, but often boxers do not get proper credit for avoiding and counter punching, and the local boy was the aggressor most of the fight.

Being the aggressor always seems to distort the memory of what actually happened round by round.

The decision could have gone either way but personally, I thought the Aussie kid won. He wasn't the least bit intimidated by the Pac-Man and indeed, he fought as if he were the champion, not Manny. Manny is too old, well past his prime. Additionally, he is fighting in a heavier weight class than he should be fighting.
A rematch may be in the offing but, if I were Manny, I wouldn't take it. I think that the next time they fight, the kid will take him out.

Well, with the compubox stats (dominating effort by Manny), and Horn's face looking like a blue waffle outbreak, I'm not sure exactly what you guys saw. I don't think we saw the same fight.

I don't know how anyone could have watched that fight and called it anything but a win for Manny. Horn held, pushed, pulled, head locked, head butted... and yes, he was the one coming forward for the entire fight.

Manny landed more blows, landed more power shots, and damn near knocked him out in the 9th round. I wouldn't have called it a landslide, for sure, but Manny did enough to win. Boxing judging is subjective, and the judges saw the fight for Horn... but when every boxing pundit is saying that decision was BS... it was BS.
