Has anyone tried these yet? I liked the OR Amazon Basin and just smoked my last one a month ago or so.

Anyways, my wife surprised me with a box of the Fuma Em Corda, so I'm tossing the box into one of my sterilite tubs for a month or so before I try one. Just curious if anyone has tried them and what they think.

Split a box with a buddy and we both smoked one ROTT.
Not bad, but not as enjoyable as the Amazon Basin.
Personally, I thought it was a bit on the strong side, and it DID give me a bit of a nicotine buzz.
Will try another one in 6 months or so.
Let me know what YOU think.
Oh yeah . . . Your wife must really love you, 'cause they ain't cheap!

I'll report back for sure once they've sat for a bit.
She's a keeper man, every so often a box of cigars appears that I didn't order...always something pretty good.

Looking forward to hearing more. I tried the Extreme and they should be described as Extremely Boring.

Could never find any amazon basins in stock; probably will pass on fuma en corda for the same reason too.

They are just as good as the original Basin. Took a minute for it to show up but when it did....it was on the money. They made the new one with some transitions as it goes along.

Welcome! Your screen name is a mess. Given your love of General Cigars, do you mind if we call you Mutt?

Okay, I couldn't wait any longer.

This cigar agreed with my palette in many ways. I thought it was quite tasty, although a few weeks of rest will likely be quite beneficial to the blend. Chocolatey, some creaminess, a touch of sweetness, and a bit of black pepper. Well balanced, but should still become better after a nap. Nicotine was noticeable in the last third, but not unpleasant.

Overall, I liked it and am glad I have a box.

Couldn't resist sharing this review! http://kaplowitz.blogspot.com/2017/08/cao-fuma-em-corda-cigar-review.html

My favorite paragraph.......

Gives off ugly burnt-offerings that hold well 'nuff.
Line is somewhat jagged with tick a' puckering hither and thither.
Calm smoke at rest, nice cloud off pull and into cool smoke-hole.
