...they make me nervous...

It has been an interesting summer for our family. We ran into some very large medical bills that have made things a little rough. Then we found out that my wife's school (private) is having financial issues and cannot pay her anything until October. Later we find out that they aren't sure of finances past October either.

Given this, my wife started looking for a new job and took on some hours at Wendy's to help pay some bills. We both worked their in HS and college and that is where we met. Since we know the GM, she was able to pick up some hours very easily. Obviously it sucks because it is fast food, but it is money. I am very proud of her for sucking it up and doing this for our family.

She found a job opportunity at another private school and was hired officially today. It is great news, but means a lot of changes and we may have to pay for part of our kids tuition (it was free at her previous school), depending on how much it costs, we may need to send them to public school, which is not something we want. Also, they don't have full time pre-school, so we are going to have to figure something out for our younger ones (can't send them to part-time pre-school due to the distance from our house). We may just end up doing pre-school at home for them. We will see.

Unfortunately we won't be any better off financially, so I think I will try to sell some of my sports memorabilia and anything else I can find to help pay off all these stinking medical bills.

Just wanted to share since some of you saw part of this in another thread.

Have a good day, ya'll.

Unfortunately my actual cards aren't worth a whole lot as I was collecting mostly in the late 80's and early 90's where the cards aren't worth the cardboard they are printed on. I have a bunch of autograph cards I will probably try to sell though, should be able to get something there. The other problem is that a decent percentage of my autographs are of ex-Indians that are no longer any good. That is what I get for collecting players I liked rather than really good players. I easily have over 10,000 worthless cards. Ha. I will probably just keep them and maybe they will be worth something for my grandchildren. haha

Best autograph I have is a nicely framed Magic Johnson picture with an autograph below the picture. It is worth like $200.

8track has him tied up in the back woods of Wisconsin. Ball gag, gimp type stuff, don'tcha know... I took his wallet, and the missus seems to like me better. Winning.

Of course, I just spent a shade over a grand for brakes and tires for her car... but I put it on MACS' card, so... whatev.

Was there any banjo music, or was it more of a Canadian type of thing?

Aggressive cuddling that got way outa hand? I didn't ask questions, I just took the man's wallet. Wasn't like he could object, what with being bound and gagged.Gonz

And here I thought this would be about David Bowie. You're missed, thin white duke.
