They'll fix it yesterday.

He could announce a 10%, across the board tax decrease.
And the liberals would rejoice.
Until they did the math.

I'd be happy if they just did away with the AMT or at least raised the limit where is kicks in. It's not going to happen as both parties have no desire to touch this cash cow. horse

For the 2014 tax year, the last year for which complete data is available from the IRS (downloads as a pdf), 4,278,000 taxpayers were subject to the AMT, paying a combined $28.6 billion in tax. The number of taxpayers affected by the AMT represented just under 3% of all taxpayers that year.

After Government programs pay to drain the swamp, other subsequent programs will have to pay to restore it...................this is what happened in Florida. We got to pay twice for the same swamp.

Depends on how you measure great: using fear/resentment or respect/rapport?

There will be another apology tour after Trump's term in office...

Isolationism never resulted in prosperity for us in our history...despite our being blessed with huge deposits of natural resources, there was always something that we needed from other places in the world...our capitalistic and democratic economy always searches for opportunities and profits where ever they can be found...that will only become more apparent moving forward...

Drafter so far the only think his tip has done is enter you. He's done none of what you say. He's talked about it though. But we all know to ignore what he says and pay attention to what he does.

Yeah and what he's done has been awesome. I really respect the fact that he's delivering on the majority of what he says.

Seems to me that I hear the Liberal Left pushing for social programs, education, and the impossible dream of the wealthy paying taxes as they should.

Not that one would hear that on Fox.....

Dems and Reps did go ahead and secure several billion for the border wall project so they do support him on some of his key peices of legislature...

Now if we could only get healthcare deregulated.

I feel a great sense of pity and embarrassment for the poor blue collar slobs that actually thought that voting for Trump was in their best interest. Republicans are union busting elites who only care about helping big business. Trickle down economics doesn't work when all they do is ship jobs overseas or to the scum in Mexico

Im probably a good bit younger than some you fellas.
I remember when Bush Senior became President.
And I remembered the issues at hand, and how they weren't fixed, and then Clinton. Same issues never fixed, Little Bush. New Issues. Never fixed.... issues compounding issues and hollow promises after promises.
It's been going downhill since I can remember. Do y'all feel the same way.
So many issues and conflicts in the guvermunt now. It's dividing families, communities, even schools. Can't even sport a US flag in most public schools anymore.

What's the agenda? What's the goal? The swamp has been flooding over since I can remember. No One person can ever fix the mess of all the unaccountable former presidents.

I can care less what anyone of them say. The boy that cried wolf.

You want to make America again.

I could do it in 1 month. But Only if everybody in America participated.

Don't buy a durn thing for one month. Take a month staycation at home with your family. Consume the food and resources you have. There are always special circumstances. But the key is a "We The People" economy reset button.

Forget waiting on the next bad decision, or over spending, or war to crash the economy. I say we should do it this time. We are the lifeblood of this nation.

I just think it would be a big eye opener for the folks that are supposed to be looking after us. We we said screw it. We are looking after ourselves.

I'm curious to here an educated scenario if everyone stopped spending and working for a month.

On a Big scale. Scare the Mazookie out of them. Tell them this is the new America. Make some serious changes. Or we don't need y'all anymore.

Not simple thing like water, power getting shutoff. Most companies give you two months before disconnect anyway.

I'd fight tooth and nail keeping my family, friends, and neighbors fed and cared for. Heck... I do that anyway. Only thing the Gov. done for me in my thirty six years is take more money than the last year.

And the only positive changes I've seen are...... hadn't seen any yet. I did get a check from Obama back in 08'
Stimulated me to put it in the bank to help the Tax blow next year.

1 month no spending...... That would be somethin'

That wouldn't fix anything it would be back to business as usual yet some businesses would fold over which would increase scarcity.
