Ten PREMIUMS.

OP wrote:

Ante Guidelines.

1) Absolutely no dog turds. One would expect to receive quality smokes. Therefore, one should be willing to risk the same. No five or ten packs of $2-$3 cigars. Though one may enjoy them, most others would consider them yard gars at best. Likewise, a $50 Gurkha that retails for $3 is not considered a good cigar.

2) Keep in mind that in the past most players included at least a few aged premiums therefore it is only fair that all others endeavor to risk something similar.

3) On the other hand, it is understood that not everyone has a stash of aged super premiums. But, there should be ample time between now and the end of the contest to pick up a selection of good, though not necessarily aged cigars.

Guys disregard Anthony's post above about the "10 Premiums"

I changed it when I started hosting, knowing that it would cause some members to not want to play when they didn't have certain types of smokes.

All I ask is that you send 10 quality cigars that you would gift to another BOTL and that you would smoke yourself.

Congrats to Whizzy, Ant and Gumby (he still wins everything) for their victorious picks all season long.

Thanks to csgamecock for hosting the contest this year.

I'm in for the College Bowl Pick'em. What's the ante and the payoff structure?

edit: I looked at last year's contest, and ante /payout were the same as for the regular season pick'em contest:

1) ante - 10 good cigars/no rockets

2) payout structure - same/similar to the regular season, but subject to modification due to the number of players

Thanks for the great selection.

Hey guys just giving an update........ the prizes I got were having a bit of an issue with the lazer engraving and I haven't been able to meet up with the guy doing the work so as soon as I can find out a solution I will be sending out to to you guys.

Hey guys just wanted to update I finally got to meet up with the guy doing the engraving and needless to say there wasn't any recovery from the issues with the prizes so I had to drop back and punt.

I did tell him to go ahead with the alternative back-up and they should be ready sometime next week. Unfortunately he is tied up working on memorial bracelets for an Officer that was shot in the line of duty last week. Needless to say when he gets that type of order everything else is placed on hold until it's finished.

I sincerely apologize for my delay but we surely didn't think the 1st items I got were going to be an issue.

Thanks guys

and Anthony...........KMA Herfing
