Don't care where I live, but you can weigh in on Ferguson even though I'm in Missouri. That means nothing to me. My sister has lived in Phoenix for 35 years, my folks for around 20 and I've been familiar with Joe and his antics since the 80s. As I said I have autographed undies.

We can disagree but the proximity thing doesn't impress. You agree with him and that's cool. Your Senators and your major news outlets do not. Yours is an opinion and just as valid as anyone elses.

So which of the people that live there get all the info to make the right decision and which do not?

As for laughing I'm glad I could return the favor.

Allow me to clarify a bit, you state that because YOU don't agree with Rick but side with his clearly open borders advocates and chicken sh^t Senators along with the bullsh*t PC media....he's wrong. Got it.

That's not what I said. I actually said he has his own opinion and it's as good as anyone else's. We don't have to agree. I can respect someone who disagrees with me. Something you clearly cant.

I simply disagree that living in AZ gives him a magical advantage with information and showed some others living in AZ that have a different opinion. I could use some of my family that live there and disagree with him, and some of my family disagree with me. No one in here knows them or cares what they think however.... thus although they live in Phoenix they don't magically have more credibility or info.

The fact that your opinion discounts both of the States statewide elected Senators whom presumably represent the majority of the State means very little to me. The fact you cast anyone or any institution that disagrees with you in blanket talking point terms rather than intelligent coherent thoughts of your own and think that justifies discounting anything they say or think means little to me. It's the problem not the solution.

I simply showed that there isn't universal agreement in PHX let alone anywhere else and living in PHX and loving Joe is not game set mach by any means.

But his opinion is absolutely as valid as anyone else's, and I respect it. It's just not more informed or better than anyone else's simply based on proximity. If that was the case you all would need to stfu and listen to me on Ferguson which would be ridiculous.

*shrug* I'm not shocked at your inability to understand basic things.

And YOU tried to back YOUR opinion or belief by pointing out his open borders Senators disagreed with him along with the PC open borders media. Blah blah blah....you sure are windy TW.

Nope. I can respect someone's opinion without agreeing with it. I absolutely still disagree with him. No backing down there.

My use of the Senators and the local media were simply to debunk the proximity thing, not to take it to the next step and call him wrong because of it. I don't need someone else's opinion for that.

I made and will make my own arguments on Joe. Stating he is right because he lives there and has more info is just as bunk as stating they are right because they live there and have more info. It's a simple point. It's not the way I argue, because it has no merit, which is and was my point. I don't expect you to understand it but most reading this will.

*shrug* think what you want. Sometimes kids hide under the covers thinking what's outside the covers disappears. Whatever makes you feel good. And laughter is good for you. Keep laughing.

No need to argue guys, it doesn't matter anymore anyway. Enough illegals got in to swing the vote in favor of someone that doesn't care of a bunch of drug dealers and gang members come flooding through the border.

At least Sheriff Joe held them off as well as he could for 20 years. The new guy just doesn't give a sh1t.

TW, I don't intend to spend much energy on this point and I see, from the thread count, that you have a lot more to say than I do, but let me just say that if you do not see any difference between reading or watching news from thousands of miles away and living in the place where it happens then you must think you know exactly how the people feel who are wading through the streets of Houston with their homes under water because you saw it on the evening news.

For someone to be so "law and order" unless and until he disagrees with it is BS. Sheriff Joe grew into a legend in his own mind and more a problem than a solution.

Trump can pardon whomever he likes legally. That doesn't insulate him from criticism or political backlash though. I think he deserves it on this one but he doesn't care. To do so now, before sentencing and in today's environment tells you a bit about trumps base.

I'm still for Presidents being able to pardon whoever they want other than themselves. If there's a political will go for it.

DED if you can ignore the fact that others living where you do disagree with you and simply hang your opinion on you live there so you know better good on you.

I've had a long time interest in joe as has my family, all of which reside in PHX.

But if an argument over opinions is to be waged using I'm closer than you so I win, and our new standard is going to be proximity based this can be fun. I'll give you a joe. You are right and you know more than all the other folks like my family living in maricopa county, your senators and your major news outlets.

Does this new standard apply just to Joe or to all topics in here?

They disagree because either they or they're family members are illegal. They fly Mexican flags at protests out here. It's ridiculous.

The drug smuggling, rapes, drunk driving, etc, etc.... the list goes on and on. When they get in, they don't GAF because they know nothing is going to happen to them. What's the worst that can happen now, they sit in a cell for 48 hours then get released before ICE can pick them up because the new sheriff ran on giving illegals a fair shake and won because enough illegals got in to sway the vote?

Joel, what the heck does your Q have to do with THIS post???? And by your post I take it you have been on welfare? Of course his opinion would vary from those who may NOT need or deserve it...but collect it nonetheless....and don't necessarily try to get off of it.
