If you are affected by Irma let us know how you're doing.

Talked to DMV & rfenst yesterday. Rfenst is inland a bit and was going to be about 100 miles east of the eye. DMV was in the direct line.

Not sure who else is that way. Im thinking TampaTom was probably in the line of Fire as well.

Let us know how you guys are doing and if there is anything we can do to help.

🙏🙏🙏

Had two weeks of stress here.....sister lives in Houston Tx for Harvey........and now my brother who lives in Naples Fla........all have made it through unhurt. Some damage to the homes, but no damage to their bodies........homes can be repaired, but bodily damage sometimes cannot.Hope all you other BOTL/SOTL have made it thru with healthy bodies and can deal with the material damages as needed, and that any of your family and friends that were in harms way have made it through unscathed

Hoping that all of the Brothers and Sisters of the Leaf and everyone else is safe and sound in Florida and Texas. These two will leave their mark but we can't be beat down for too long.

Critters are in trouble Drafter. Only a few of the shelters allowed pets.

Everyone is safe. Animals all made it through the storm. Suffered some tree limbs falling but no damage to house or cars.

Still without power though.

The wife and I are good, but we are blocked in by a large tree that fell across the driveway. We had some gusty winds, but from a different direction than the usual storms. That usually ends up taking out a tree. It was raining too much to tackle it today so I sharpened the chain and cleaned the filter.

We had a couple of power outages, but they didn't last but a couple of minutes.

Pray for those in the middle of the storm or in it's path.

My friends that live in Jacksonville got through unscathed. Brad works in Sarasota, and his parents live there, too, and they got through it with no damage as well.

Big sigh of relief that the monster was more blow than show...

That said, the islands, including US Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico, are in bad shape...

No...it's a good one. Big Folgers can with handles. Use it for watering my Rosemary and fresh water to the cats. I salvaged it.

Just got internet and phone service back. Got power back Friday (finally) after 5+ days without, then lost it again for a bit on Saturday. $150 damage to my pool screen. That's it. Not even a twig or leaf to clean up because my lot only has ornamental trees rather than the crap the developer left standing on other lots. Neighbors have enormous piles of debris and fallen trees in front of their homes and it is starting to smell a little. Total economic loss including my wife missing one day of work, replacing spoiled food in the refrigerator, buying items to prep for the storm and a few incidental expenses was about $1,000. I think I got off very easy. Thankfully, I replaced my roof about a month ago. It was miserable sleeping in an 85F house so we ate out quite a bit. I am definitely going to buy a huge generator and have it wired into the house well before the next one. Son in Tallahassee was unscathed. Daughter in Boca Raton just got power back yesterday. We still have impaired cell service...

The changes in course of the storm over the last 24 hours greatly diminished the damage to Florida.
