Raining in the house again yesterday.

Got up on the roof, had a piece of failed flashing.

Calling for roof quotes tomorrow... This has been an expensive year, and keeps adding more.

More cleaning out the basement, going through crap and tossing most of it.

The big trash bin outside is full
The 40g can in the garage is full
The 40g can in the basement is full
Got several cardboard boxes full
Also filled wife's car up with stuff to give to thrift store

Put 10 large wall cabinets in the burn pile. Was saving em to hang on the basement and garage walls, but they've been here 7 years without even getting measured so...

Took more pictures of stuff thats still new in box, threw it up on the Craigslist. Only getting 3-4 scammer texts/emails a day. Two no-show's and one that tried to get my $100 item for $20 because "It's gonna take a while to sell, and I'm here now, so how bout you take $20 and it's gone." I was willing to take 80 on this new in box 200a circuit breaker panel that I bought for 200something and never opened.

I gotta do some house cleaning too....

Hey... I've been trying to figure out what to do with a few items... brain-trust here may be able to help.

I've got an old Nintendo and an old Playstation... with a bunch of games... are there stores that would find these valuable? Been trying to figure out the best way to unload these...

And I've got a whole box of playboys from like the 90s and early 2000s... I don't know the condtion or if any of the pages are stuck together... but like a number of years all in sequence.

Need to figure out what sort of stores to search for to unload these.

The games sell easily on eBay and with your large local population, Craigslist too.

The magazine probably not.

been thinking of dragging them to a retro games shop somewhere... just haven't gotten the impetus to call them up and ask if they buy the stuff. Need to go through them and look it all up to make sure I don't get taken on the price

Nice to get rid of junk.

Now that I've pretty well resolved myself to moving, it's helped with my hoarding tendencies. Everything I keep I gotta move and store and have a place and purpose in a new home. A lot of this stuff is not worth bringing with us.

Dismantled a commercial pressure washer I've had for 10+ years and used twice. Weighs about 400lb so had to take it apart to load it up for scrap.

Chopped two mopeds up so they can be scrapped without title

Not sure what to do about the dead tractor in the woods. Need an even bigger tractor to haul it out. Might have to piece-haul that one away too

That's what I was thinking... I've never played them except when I was a kid.. but I was wondering instead of letting them go as a bundle individually might be better... some games gotta be worth more than others right..?? Think

About to eat some gyro, a gyro truck came by today because the crappy burrito maker next door is gone (they bring food trucks now).

But we're not big fans of roach coaches, so someone went to get some gyros from a real restaurant.

Bang Bang Shrimp that I made this weekend.

MMMM good!Drool

Bang Bang Shrimp Pasta!

Ingredients
1 lb of spaghetti or your favorite pasta of choice
1 1/2 lbs of medium shrimp, peeled and deveined (or 1 pound boneless chicken, chopped)
1 1/2 Tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 tsp paprika
1 Tablespoon fresh parsley
Black pepper to taste

For the Sauce
1/2 cup of Hellmans mayonnaise
1/2 cup Thai sweet chili sauce (in the asian isle)
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 Tablespoons of lime juice
1/4 tsp of crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 tablespoon onion powder

Instructions
In a large bowl, mix all 'sauce' ingredients together then set aside.
Cook pasta, drain.
Place the uncooked shrimp OR chicken in a medium bowl, add the paprika, 3 cloves of garlic, pepper
In a large skillet, on medium high heat, add the coated uncooked shrimp OR chicken.
Stir constantly while cooking until no longer pink- about 10 minutes
Remove from heat and set aside.
In a large bowl, combine the pasta, shrimp/chicken and sauce mixture and toss well.

ENJOY!

I added a touch of Thai peanut sauce at the table. Next time I make this I'll add chopped peanuts and serve with fresh bean sprouts for a twist on Pad Thai. Oh yeah...get deveined and unshelled shrimp and get like 2 to 2-1/2 pounds of it. Shrimp reduces and you'll want some in almost every bite. I imagine it would be the same with any meat. Going to try it with beef too just to see.
