I will be starting on this in the next week or two it will be ready on or about the 21st. I prefer mine with chopped pecans but If you prefer we can leave those out. If you want to give it a try let me know so I know how many jars to make. PM me your addy if I don't have it. Also in the PM let me know if you want pecans or no pecans. If you do not specify it will come with pecans. Again, I am not asking for trades this is just to share with my brothers and sisters. Herfing

LOL I do appreciate it dstieger, I would be telling a lie if I did not say that it is all kind of self serving on my part. It gives me something to do which halfway keeps me sane. Then again, that is a matter of opinion as well uhhh?

How this came about was that it was a suggestion by my son. He had come to me one day and stated that he thought a few of the folks here on forum would like something pumpkin and stated that he thought either pumpkin butter or pumpkin jam. Both are recipes that has been in my family since I was a kid. Honestly I think he just wanted some for himself lmaoooo.

Ewok,I got your package of the Speeder Juice Hot Sauce...........The packaging was spectacular, had the look and feel of store bought.....I opened it up and put a little on a Bacon Ritz Cracker to have a taste, and you were right, the bourbon is very much in the background and the flavor and heat are perfect.I'm definitely going to use it on some Tekillya grilled chicken.I'll update on the results when I do.Thank you again.......at this rate my cupboards will be filled with Ewok and Wife creations.......Also loved the labeling, and looking forward to see the Pumkin Jam label,I really like the look of the vine leaves........is that a hint at the contents? If so it may be "HIGH" on my list of favoritesLOL

You are very welcome brother,

I wish the vine leaves was a hint of ingredients of the pumpkin jam. If it was legal here in Memphis I would absolutely be putting that "herb" to use lol.

I am glad you like it brother, I still can not make up my mind on if I should have done another day or 2 in the bourbon barrel to make it just a tad stronger bourbon flavor to it or not but I will admit, I was very pleased on how it turned out. I do wish I had made a few just a tidbit hotter but that is what I have my notebook for lol. The next batch I do will be as it is now and I also will make some just a little hotter.

Mango hot sauce is going to be the next project. The wife and I just finished pricing mango at the local store today and this weekend I will be making that and also ordering bottles for packaging which should be here in 2 to 3 days. With some of the mango hot sauce I will also be experimenting with putting it in a tequila barrel to see how that taste. I am Kind of shooting for a Tequila Sunrise cocktail recipe which I think is full of Caribbean flavor from the orange and mango. I am not to sure if it will be any good but it damn sure sounds tasty lmaooo.

PS: If you need more for the Tekillya chicken let me know and I will get it out to you as I still have a few bottles left.
