This was a well rolled torpedo.

Canoed a tiny bit but did not present a problem.

A wonderful flavor mix of fruit and nuts.

Fairly mild body for a beginner ... but complex in flavor for a veteran.

Very consistent in body and flavor from start to finish.

Only fault is a fairly dry finish ... but it tasted so good I did not mind.

I believe they may provide a better, creamier finish with some age.

If one can score a 5 pack at auction under $ 15 ... pull the trigger.

They do very well with a long nap.
I'm smoking thru boxes now that are over 3 years old, and they are great......especially at what I paid.....just over $2/ ea.
The Toro and Robs are my favorites.......had some issues with the torps, so I quit buying those.
Not a big ring fan, but I did win a box of Muy Buesos on a low bid, and now they are a fine 2 hour smoke.

Not my cup of tea- but then I don't like tea. I wouldn't pay much more than a buck for them, but I might with the Muy Buesos. I know I have at least 5 torpedos stored away away and maybe some others. I'll have to see how old they are before pulling them out to smoke.

Just checked and some are over 2 years old and the others are over 3.

Try the ones that are 3+ years old.
The body should have a noticeable pre-light aroma of citrus/lemon flower.....the foot a different aroma, earthy bitter chocolate.
If you notice these pre-light aromas, chances are you're going to like the cigar imo.

I did once get a bad 10-pack of Robs from here years ago........half of them sucked.....bitter, with a chemical after taste.

I'll give them the sniff test in the spring. Not sure what I have left. Bought them all at $ 2 and stopped buying in April of 2015. Unfortunately, I may only have torpedos left.
