Some customers are NOT WORTH THE HASSLE...

ESPECIALLY PICKY DEMANDING ONES whose checks bounce or never pay on time...

It always feels good to dump a problem you don't need...
THE CUSTOMER IS NOT "ALWAYS RIGHT"...
TOO MANY SCAMMERS OUT THERE NOWADAYS...

THEY CAN BE REPLACED WITH A NEW ...
BETTER AND NICER CUSTOMER...
REAL EASY...

Just watch out for a "BAD REVIEW " ON ANGIES LIST OR OTHER LOCAL CONTRACTOR REVIEW SITES...
IF that happens, fight the review with the web site manager..

Sometimes getting fired is the best thing that can happen to someone, at the very least, they no longer your problem.

Enjoy!

I fired him. Not the other way around. Got tired of his BS. Picked my tools up Friday then sent him a text.

I understood that, I was talking about the guy you fired. He might never get the message, but some folks do and make changes to how they act or find the right line of work.

Yes, I got that from your fist post. Is it bothering you that the guy you quit on might learn a lesson?

I could really care less. Besides, he doesn't strike me as the type to learn anything. To hear him talk he knows everything about anything.

We had a "Come to Jesus" yesterday afternoon. All is fine....except my schedule which I once again had to juggle.

As it turns out, he had scheduled quite a few things that would have required my guys and I to be finished much sooner than I agreed to. He thought he could *push* me a little. He's obviously not a member here. Otherwise, he would have realized trying to back me into a corner was the worst thing he could do.

He's now 3 days farther behind schedule than he was the day I fired him and he rescheduled everything based on my schedule, not his.

Ohhhhhhhhh...

Nooooooooo...

"A RE-HIRE AFTER ...A FIRE.."

don't tell me "you never said that"...
But...you will live to regret the rehire...

Every "Re-hire" I ever did...went even FURTHER SOUTH than the original firing showdown... One azzhole kept my tools and still never paid me...so I found his hot wife out one night at a meat market bar on girls night out ...quite drunk and easily coerced into a Vehicle ****...and boy was she ever good at sucking Kock.... then I got a few additional car B.J.'s over about 6 months of her begging for more...I think they got divorced and she snagged a millionaire...last time I saw him I said "HEY ...AZZHOLE...HOW'S YOUR WIFE DOING
WITH HER NEW MILLIONAIRE HUSBAND?"...he gave me the finger and I laughed my azz off THEN kept moving...

Makes sense.

In my case it's a win-win. It's a big job and he pays me each Friday based on progress made. He buys #350K and up to remodel and flip. He's a Superintendent for a large construction company. He's got another job starting soon and says he will give us the tile work. I gave him a *get all of your business* price on this job. He already knows I'm going to bump my prices by 50% on the next job. He's cool with that because he knows that we do top quality work.

Lack of communication at the beginning. He has giving me permission to get *a* beer from his fridge. We're on solid footing now.
