I just wrapped up an unexpected week with my mom, who lives 2 hours away. She is a brave, amazing woman dealing with a whole host of medical issues. Completely unfair after caring for my step-dad through his 10-year journey with Alzheimer's. I'm glad there are home health and home care services that can help her remain as independent as possible for as long as possible. I spent the week driving her to and attending medical appointments and getting her plugged in to health and care assistance in her home. She had just moved, so I was also helping her to unpack and get things set up.
I am back at home this AM and have discovered that Luke753 sent me his opening salvo of a trade we had started to discuss over the summer. Holy cow, Brother! Thank you so much for your timing and your selection! With the stuff with my mom going on, I found myself getting all sentimental and s*it as I was checking out the cigars. The kindness and generosity of this community when the opportunity/need arises always blows me away. Luke753 is one heck of a BOTL.
