Having a smoke out front the other night when a coyote went trotting down the street about 30 feet away from me.

Coyotes don't like pellet guns.
Hit em once, they seem to stay away.
Works on racoons too...

Varmint. Open during small & big game season here. Pelts can retrieve a high price.

A box of Padron's just trotted down your street.

Lots of coyotes in this area. I had a bobcat walk slowly along my back wall not 10 feet from me when I was having a cigar in the pool recently. Lots of bunnies and quail attracts them.

I see coyotes all the time, they don't bother anyone. They might eat your puppy, but they generally stay away from people.

Here in West Texas we shoot them on sight. They're responsible for countless losses of calves and fawns.3 weeks ago a friend just outside of town lost 9 goats in one night out of a pen that only held a dozen. They ate two entirely leaving only the carcass and left the rest lying.Sorry little bastids....SHOOT ON SIGHT!!!

I"m heading out to the panhandle tonight for a little deer hunt at a friends farm. One of his policies is........you see a yote in range, you better take him if you want to come back.

Here in northeast Illinois we blast them on sight. I keep ar15 handy just to light em up when I see em. I hear them howling in the back of my 6 acre yard all the time. In the last decade they destroyed the wild pheasant population. Can't kill enough of those phuggars. I

Ya, they don't mess with humans. Probably because they know some people shoot them on site.

Fairly common here in SoCal. My son had one of his cats taken by coyotes. Last one I saw was pretty big, but he kept his distance and kept walking...

Meh. More of a lack of habitat than yotes. Farmers killed off/ drove out more of them when they started plowing ditch to ditch years ago and eliminated most of the fence rows the pheasants used for nesting/ breeding.

The yotes run the RR tracks by us regularly, they help keep the stray cat/dog/small kid population in check.
