I will do a Google search...
But I wondered if anyone on here who smokes cheap machine made cigars has researched it way more already...

I just bought a really inexpensive bundle of 20 "No.99 Factory Throwouts"...at a
"PUFF" SMOKE SHOP BRICK AND MORTAR at a strip mall on a referal from a guy at a farmers mkt...
7 1/4 x 52 Sungrown Ecuadorian wrapper, Dominican filler, they look hand rolled
And taste decent...not harsh at all...
They do SOUTH REAL QUICK AT 2-3" BUT THE BEGINNING IS LIKE ANY YARD GAR ON HERE..
CI MAY EVEN SELL THEM in there cheapy selection..

Only after I bought them did I notice that "predominantly" word real small and never says hand rolled anywhere or machine made.

They are very likely machine made. I'd guess using a homogenized tobacco (aka: HT) binder. HT comes in rolls, they look like giant rolls of brown masking tape. The non-tobacco ingredients in HT is mostly cellulose IIRC.

Pretty much. HT is basically thick paper made from chopped tobacco stems and trim with a few binding chemicals added in.

I believe those contain gluten. Proceed with caution.

unless you know to look for it, or grate your own, there's a 98.2% chance your jar of grated parmesan cheese contains cellulose...to prevent clumping!

Just grate your own... a million times better and only takes a few seconds more.

Back to HT, Jones just rip one of those cigars open, usually the HT is used for the binder.

Smoking "Predominately tobacco cigars" is like going out with a woman that is "predominately" female.

And cheap parmesan cheese may contain cellulose whether purchased in a wheel or grated.

I haven't noticed that it does prevent clumping and I think it's just an excuse to justify it's inclusion.

Has Cacman dated some burly women ?

Doesn't sound that bad.

Mr. Jones - predominantly tobacco means the filler could be just about anything. If they swept the floor of the cigar factory, the accumulated waste piles could become the filler in your cigars as that can be called predominately tobacco. Unless you really want to determine what is inside the wrapper, I would not suggest cutting open the cigars. You would likely never smoke them again.

If I am not mistaken thsee are rolled by JC Newman made by a machine assisted process using 80 year old machines run by people. A real Rube Goldberg operation. They can make thousands a day vs 100,000 a day for all machine. The binder is the homogenized part-tobacco product. Filler and wrapper should be all tobacco. Filler is chopped short and likely from Fuente? And I think they are called throw out but not seconds.
