"treasonous" ... an alt-right opinion (Bannon) about the behavior of Jr. and Jared during Trump's campaign...never thought I'd see that admission...

Think any Trump supporters might be swayed since it's one of their own saying this?

Many have already come forward saying they've been misquoted or stuff they said was never said... We'll see where it goes... It's funny how much some want it to be true tho.. Mellow

Yep insane got left a long while back and we have now passed lunacy and reaching the end of Asinine, Coming up on plumb phuquing retarded and who gives a chit any more.

Gives new meaning to "OMG keep horse for christ sake".... But, is not the true definition of insanity when one keeps doing the same old BS over and over and over expecting a different result?.... If the football helmet and short bus fits I say.

I agree with MACS and do think much written in the book can’t possibly be true. At least I hope not.

I’ve also applied the same caution towards places of birth, being a closet Muslim, uranium deals, Benghazi, and on and on and on.

Being cautious and not believing the garbage spewed around those issues may get you branded as a liberal in here but that’s no excuse to become an idiot when the table turns

Many chose sides. Some cheer and root for bad **** (true or not) to happen surrounding Hillary, Obama etc., some do the same with trump. Same birds different color feathers. The funny thing is when they can’t see it or won’t admit it.

I hope 90% if the book is wrong or we are all in trouble.

Has Bannon denied saying any of this?
Why did Moron's lawyers send Bannon a cease and desist if Bannon was misquoted?

It appears that the semiliterate moron is in quite a tizzy.

I didn't like Obama, his wife, nor his policies.

But I never wanted him ousted or to be removed from office outside an election.

The anti-Trump hatred is so ingrained that the liberalati would choose domestic calamity if it meant Trump gets busted.
It's spiteful. It's ugly. And it's damned near the stupidest thing I've ever heard.

And....Russia.
This is the best troll bait in the history of politics.
From rigging the election and now all the way to treason. From Trump himself now down to his spawn.

I know politics seem to get more outrageous each cycle, but this is way beyond any predicted exponential growth.
It is derangement to the highest order.

If this new information turns out to be true, then we need to let the chips fall.
In the meantime, it's just the outrage dujour, and even though NONE of the other outrages panned out to be true it's always fun to watch the gusto with which each new one is embraced.

To be honest I don't care what the book says because I don't believe most of it, but I think the author has his own blog and is addressing things directly. If Alex Jones wrote a book, or Kitty Kelly on any given subject I wouldn't put much value in it whether I liked the subject or not.

That goes for the nonsense Breitbart writes in their books that folks pick up and take as truth as much as this silliness.

I do beleive what he said about Trumps hair though LOL

You didn't maybe but Birthers (Trump) did. Don't act as if this is unusual to one side. Our last attempt to remove a president between elections wasn't a left wing conspiracy. It's ugly regardless of side.

I agree with you though. We don't know what the investigation will bring. I have no faith in Congress' but I do in Mueller despite attempts to smear him. If he has nothing, so be it. If there is something bad I hope we all have enough integrity to accept it, rather than playing political smear games. Right now we know nothing but a couple convictions and a couple indictments. They have been refreshingly silent with few leaks. I'm hoping they are looking at the whole ball of wax, not just Trump. (Ds and Rs).

Short of that, the guy won. The way to get rid of him is the next election.

.

But this is what ruffles my feathers.
The "birthers" absolutely wanted Obama out. Even after he took office.
But the birthers were portrayed as right wing lunatics. And rightly so.
The ones who are mirroring this lunacy today are portrayed as the media. Hell, they ARE the media.

I don't care when an obvious left wing group opposes a conservative. That's par for the course even when it's part of the aforementioned exponential rise in partisan whining.
But I DO care when the morning and evening "news" is resplendent with the anti Trump rhetoric.
It's beaten into the fabric of our society with such ferocity that people now hate Trump for reasons they don't even know.
They call him names because they hear them and those names have meaning in today's world.
Racist? Misogynist?
Are people really that gullible. Trump is an opportunist. If the person getting in his way is black or female or whatever he doesn't care. He does things to help himself, not to shame others for who they are.
Doesn't make him a good guy. Hell, it probably makes him a bad one because he lacks empathy.
But it doesn't make him a treasonist Nazi lover.

Although that would make a good book title.

Well there wasn't a shred of truth to the birthers claims.

We still don't know about the Russia thing. It may end up being just a few morons around him (the indictments and convictions) or it may be more. I do think folks are going gung ho with it and may look silly in the end. The partisan nature of it is ugly... both the smear for and against. I think Nunes will be a historically pathetic figure regardless. Schiff and others may as well.

There was absolutely nothing to the birther claims. Zero. It was dumb. As is the stuff in this book from what I've seen.

I think the Russia thing is closer to whitewater than the birthers. Anyone ever buying in to the birther thing really needs to question their intelligence. I think whitewater and Russia are both legitimate to look in to. Russia should be looked at as a whole, not specific to one party or one person. My guess is it is. We don't know yet though.

I haven't read or heard anything specifically in Wolff's book other than the obvious shock value sound bites on the local news stations, sort of waiting for the hysteria to die down.

But I have seen that Wolff not only spent months in the White House with access to almost everything and everyone (especially Trump's chief strategist and adviser Bannon) but that Trump authorized not only the access but also cleared all to speak directly to the author...

should we conclude the POTUS is self destructive?

Yeah!
Well, except for that pesky quote from his grandmother.

So while the birthers ended up being a basket of deplorables, don't pretend like there wasn't any reason to ask the questions. Questions that remained unanswered for far too long and allowed the issue to become blurred.

We can't use hindsight as a sword of righteousness.

C'mon Frank.
You're suggesting a conclusion in the same breath you claim to be "waiting for the hysteria to die down".

They say patience is a virtue.

Not sure who said it.
I'll look it up.
Some credit it to William Langland.
Others cite the latin maxima enim, patientia virtus (Patience is the greatest virtue).
Many claim the Bible, although I don't know which verse.
Ooooh. I wish I knew which verse RIGHT NOW!!

Tail we disagree on the birthers. It was just as absurd in the moment as in hindsight and I said as much then. It was dumb.

not suggesting a conclusion to the veracity of the quotes in the book, asking if the President could be causing his own issues whether true or false.

asking.
not suggesting.
if it's his fault, not if it's true.

and you should take it as a compliment that I "borrowed" your writing style!

Is anyone really surprised that oligarchs from this country work with oligarchs from other countries in ways that are mutually beneficial?

Does anyone really want Pence over Trump? At least with Trump you can see the punches coming.

Dems better pray that Trump is still around in 2020 because they still have no message other than “Trump is Bad” and that isn’t gonna beat a Pence ticket. That won’t beat any ticket as shown in the previous election when they lost to the most unpopular candidate in modern history.

They need to let the Russia thing play out in the background and start talking policy. Democrats have lost over 1,000 seats across government in the last decade and everyone wants to act like Trump and Russia is the problem. Trump is a byproduct of the problem.
