I guess only ONE GUY? can change what was voted into law by millions of people? In like 5? Different states...I love these new Mussolini' clones in D.C....

I say the pharmecutical companies and oil companies are behind this somehow?

I guess the TAX MONEY that will come from this new ERA of recreational use income wasn't enough to BEAT THE CASH PAYOFFS FROM THESE TWO MASSIVE ENTITIES...

MAN, I GOTTA "ROLL" ME ONE OR TWO OF THESE CORPORATION BAGMEN DRIVING AROUND WASHINGTON D.C. IN CARS w/ TRUNKS FILLED solid TO THE BRIM w/CASH STUFFED SUITCASES.

I'M GOING HUNTING...but first I gotta go buy me some of those COOL MEXICAN "NIGHT OF THE DEAD" SKULL PAINTED SKI MASKS...
LIKE IN THAT "SAVAGES" MOVIE...

WHO'S IN ???
I JUST WON A TWO WEEK CONTRACT
WITH "CT WHEELMAN FRANK" ON THE DARK NET...

They really need big tobbaco's support to push this through. If people wanna smoke the ganj. Their investment opportunity/incentive should be huge.

Boooooooo! Booooooooooo!

seriously, I suspect that - like daca - they'll move to put something more concrete on the books rather than leave the law in place but choose to ignore it... wouldn't surprise me to see trump push for full legalization...

Was legalized in FL over a year ago with over 70% of the vote if I remember correctly. The state gov still has it tied up in courts delaying the process. We no longer have a government representative of the people; state or fed.

Whatever happened to decriminalization? A concept that made a lot of sense. These states have rushed headlong into legalization which takes it from "not punishing users" to promoting use. All for the tax money I guess.

Half tempted to give a dispensary a visit when I head to CA. It's been 14 years since wife said it's weed or her, and I've abstained.

She said she's fine with it if it's legal.

So... I think there's an opportunity coming up. Or not.

Considering the amount MJ is taxed not only by the State but also by County and Towns, I'd rather MJ stay illegal. It's cheaper and without any overreaching guberment regulation and tax.

MJ is taxed more than tobacco in CO. Consumers/Patients pay State Tax, County Tax, Education Tax, Mental Health Tax, Distribution Tax, State & Local Sales Tax (approx 10%), plus a transaction fee for the privileged of being able to purchase in Town. Comes to approx 51% total tax on MJ compared to the approx 40% tax on tobacco.

Grow you own MJ!

Would also suggest: Brew your own! And Distill your own! And buy alcohol stocks in 2018! The alcohol industry received a 50% Federal tax reduction on their product.
