Why would the Orange Cretin want to change libel laws?

“We are going to take a strong look at our country’s libel laws, so that when somebody says something that is false and defamatory about someone, that person will have meaningful recourse in our courts,” Mr. Orange Cretin told reporters during a meeting of his cabinet in the White House.

What would Ted Cruz think about this?

I know that reading comprehension is hard for you, but I really don't understand what libel laws have to do with your post.
Please go back to your Special Ed Class and don't eat the glue.

Don't make him figure out what "libel" actually means... that's hard. It's much easier for him to just copypasta irrelevant stuff.

We're dealing with some guy who either he's banned or he forgot his old screen name.
How smart can he be?

Trump’s threat to revise our country’s libel laws is laughable . There aren't any federal libel laws. Just state ones.

As the President, he is the most visible "public person" and is exempt from defamation...he's trying to buck a long tradition in our laws, derived from the English common law, that is pretty much settled...

And you know... it's only libel if he didn't do/say the things he's accused of doing/saying..... frequently on tape... but then denies.... Maybe someone needs to explain what "recording devices" are to him, how they work... that sort of stuff.
