I know it's more fun to mess around, and that is one of the attractions here no matter how much the boundaries are pushed...

regarding Jones, I don't know much but more than most I guess, Always in the background was profound sadness and loss. I pm'd him a few times over the years when it appeared he was decompensating (is that the word DanMD?) especially around holidays. He was always grateful for the check-ins.

Having a limited background in related fields years ago, I was wary of being incorporated into the web of paranoia, if that was really what was happening...yet aware that if he is paranoid, he does not know the meaning of the word trust and it would only be a matter of time until I could not be trusted.

We can speculate on the order of appearance, what is perceived as craziness and then the losses, or the losses followed by the man we now know.

He spoke here sometimes of his mother in the nursing home, but he also hinted at the break up of his family...wife and daughter...and it's so easy to attribute that stuff to creeping paranoia.

As for me, as horrendous as it would be, I'd prefer to believe my virtual friend's issues began when he tipped off the Gov about a plot to destroy Lehigh Valley or wherever it took place, and the vicious response of SSG etc. which actually does exist.

Call me selfish, but that amazing tale is so incredibly entertaining, and so much better than watching a man unravel before our eyes, that I would hope the amazing story was true.

I hope he's safe. i hope this was not a suicide note. But me Spidey Sense is tingling...

To me he is Chcuk Barris and I always enjoy his posts. I figured there is a little truth and a little exaggeration mixed with a whole lot of wtf who knows whats going on. I found his conspiracy theories not that much different than many of the theories believed in here by some.
