If you want bottom dollar pricing on a takedown I will keep an eye open.

Not sure where you live but I have found some great deals on armslist.

Found a marlin stainless at Wally world for $197. Would have bought it on the spot but the stock felt loose. Everything moved. Weird. Can prolly get tightened down but I didn’t want to find out.

Going to another show tomorrow. I hope prices haven’t risen due to the latest tragedy.

I went from thinking of the marlin or ruger .22 to Cz.22 rifles to a limited addition Cz etc. in other words from $200ish to a grand plus scope etc.

Now I’m rethinking. Maybe I’ll get a browning buckmark hunter. I really like the new range near me and suspect I’ll shoot more. .22 makes sense.

Try to find an older Marlin. After the Freedom Group bought Remington and Marlin their quality has dropped, oh, and Remington is filing for bankruptcy, so much for the rich gun lobby.

At least for now you can find .22 rimfire ammunition.

If I go rifle it will be Cz or Tikka/Sako.

I’m thinking buckmark though. My wife wants to learn to shoot now so the buckmark might help there too.

As for the gun lobby they are richer than ever. I don’t think that’s very disputable. I don’t have an issue with it. I’d like an alternative to the NRA though. Maybe we should start one?

Done, the Gun Owners of America: https://www.gunowners.org

It would be hard to go wrong with any of those choices.

I keep eyeing the Browning SA-22 rifles.

I love brownings. I love my ithaca 37s too.

I'm just not a big fan of the NRA. As much as I like my guns, the NRA just doesn't match up with my thoughts very well. Much the same way my dad feels about AARP.

The NRA is good because it exists, but for the last 20 years they are far to willing to negotiate away right rather than defend them. The NRA leasers are politicians interested in maintaining their position and income. The NRA leadership has too many FUDDs and not enough Second Amendment supporters.

He's right, all AARP appeals go into the shredder. They are an insurance company not an advocacy group, they also fund anti gun orgnizations.

Auto correct it effin with me. Nickels. Yea I had close to $400 in milk jugs I turned in las night. Combined with folding money in my pocket under $600.

Cz or tikka rifle or buck Mark pistol has my name on it.

I say that but never buy at these things.

I looked closely at Buck Mark, felt good in the hand. Good looking and reliable pistol for sure.

Did I say good looking?

Ended up with a Ruger MK IV, I have a III so it was a very familiar feel and I am deadly accurate with it. It looked different enough with the bull barrel and target sights, swapped out front sight for white dot.

What put me over was they used the same magazines. I am all about going to the range and shooting not reloading mags.

I have at least ten for every semi I have, I load up the night before or over morning coffee so its a non-stop visit at the range.

Buy one, any one!

Good luck getting it at 100%.

I have a Chase account, a local credit union account, and a local bank account.

None accept coins destined for the counter. They want them itemized before they hit the counter. I tried to fill out a deposit slip for $100 and gave them a bucket of coins. They told me to count and separate them, then they'd put em in the machine. Went to another bank, they said no coins unless wrapped. Third bank wanted me to hand count to the teller, then teller would put in machine.

Guess coinstar is all that's left. And they take like 10%

Got a gun show next county over. It's usually pretty busy, I thought about heading over there today but didn't want to deal with crowds. Heavy snow this evening/overnight maybe I'll head over with the wife's Subaru in the morning.

I have a coin sorter. Cheap Harbor Freight thing, but puts the coins in tubes.

Brought those in, they told me I had to open them, and count them, and put the numbers on deposit ticket before they'd put them in the counting machine...

So wrapped, but only if wrapped in approved wrappings.

I probably have $500 or more in coin wraps but the hassle of getting them turned into real money isn't worth my time.

Yessir... NFCU has a machine that counts, sorts, and deposits the coin total into the account of your choosing.

Every bank I use used to do it but in the last couple years they stopped doing it for free.

It's a % fee if you choose to use their counter at the two local banks.

Chase flat out refuses. They'll take a deposit, but you have to fill out the deposit slip, give them coins in tubes, and the amount must match or they refuse the deposit.

I dunno. My Cz feels as comfortable as my d3ke in my hand. Just bigger. No need for ffl etc.

I have my credit card out right now. But it is the same prices as the buckmark hunter ($40 cheaper than the browning). $410 delivered to my door.

Just ordered the Kadet. Eff it. For 1/4 the price of ammo I’ll get the fun of shooting my Cz and it will pay for itself.

By the way Louie dog thinks Hill is a biotch and carter page is an idiosky.... whatever that is.
