I think it’s the one they created in ND (sort of how we made(wasn’t it the UN.) Israel) called lgbqasap or something like that.

All "it" needs to do is run in a blue state and a win is easily possible.

Not allowed to vote but can be elected to the Senate? Interesting...learn something new every day.

Edit: It seems that he can vote. My mistake.

Don't worry, I am from Maryland originally and Manning has no hope against Ben Cardin but should make from some great headlines.

Not an "it" as in "inanimate object".

But certainly an "it" as in: If I say the wrong pronoun I'm gonna get accused of assigning a gender.

In today's political climate, I would say that anything is possible. This race will definately garner national attention and I imagine that Manning will not have any problems with fundraising. I personally wouldn't mind seeing 99.9% of incumbents fall, so I welcome the competition.

It is bizarre to me that she can run for the senate. I thought he very well could have been charged with treason and convicted.

prolly.

I wouldn't vote for her.

And I'm not even very religious, but I have been led to believe many here are.

This is a person about whom most are unable to understand what their assigned trials and struggles have been like. Be thankful it wasn't you or one of yours, and stop hating because you fear this.

In other words, put your mouths where your religion is. One day we may all understand.

What Chelsea Manning is, is a human being. Human beings are not described as it. I cannot possibly imagine the emotional hell transgendered people go through. What I think is bizzare is that she can run for office after her conviction. Pardoned or not.

Speaking of pardoned criminals running for the Senate...does anyone have a problem with Joe Arpaio running for a seat in Arizona?

I personally couldn't care less about Manning's current gender, birth gender or sexual orientation.

What Manning did as a soldier was inexcusable. And that is what makes him/her a POS.

Well, if you bring God into it there's the 'body is a temple' thing... This goes well beyond a couple tattoos... I have to think God is ok with boob jobs tho... Mellow

As TG stated, what IT did as a, ahem...soldier, removes IT from any godly considerations.

I read TG differently. I think he said it makes her a POS and not one to vote for...I happen to agree.

But you're the one speaking for God. Good to know.

You are correct Frank. Manning had already been dishonorably discharged and was no longer a soldier at the point when he became a she.

I was speaking of the espionage, release of documents and aiding the enemy. etc...
