Looking at the "cut"... the thin slices in a radial patern... makes me wonder about tars and moisture build up.
Anybody actually use one?

My bride asked if I wanted one. I think not... am I wrong?

Nope ... waste of time ... conceptually, it's ok,, but functionally it has a short life before doing little more than crushing the end of the cigar ...

I had one when they first came out several years ago and it was ok initially, but wasn't really all that special ... wasn't long before I had to use my Palio to clean up the messy cuts and that's when I realized I was accomplishing absolutely nothing with the Shurikan ...

Haha, I know what you mean and any time. Yeah in my humble opinion they are not worth the plastic its made of. If mom was dead set on you having one we could save her and yourself the cash and time.

At the office yesterday, I used a pair of wire snips. Just looked up a shuriken cutter, looks like the cigar would be a leaky mess half way through.

You just can't beat a good old pair of wire snips!

When everyone is offering to give theirs away and to boot no one else will take them, that kind of says it all. fog

A word of caution, the blades are sharp. Very sharp. As in "cut your finger to ribbons sharp" for anyone foolish enough to test the question with a beloved digit.
