What is it?

I have a couple of Anejo Sharks, opus x's, a couple Tat monsters, bunch of random CC's and a couple higher end Illusiones. Nothing overly spectacular, but hey, I'm a noob.

Is there anything you won't smoke because it is so high end?

I also have a trump cigar in a glass tube. Doubt I will smoke it. LoL

Nope. It's all fair game to me.

I didn't buy them to look at them.

For me, there is something about Padrons that grabbed me right off the bat. It's almost like a sour smoothness to them that no other cigar has. Can't really describe it. I have some that I like as much, but none that I like better...if that makes any sense at all.

Smoked most of my really nice stuff but I've got a Bolivar Gold Medal earmarked for when we close on this house and another LGC Tainos for when boy #3 is born. I don't really horde my high end cigars, but when I know something special is coming up soon I set something aside so I'll have something memorable to go with the moment.

I would struggle with that one too. That is so far above anything in my stash that I wouldn't know when to have it. Ha

years ago, in my first parish I had a gentleman and his family that were Padron's. Not too close, cousins I think... but they were close enough to get cigars, many of which found their way into my peanut butter jar. Pretty effective humidore as I recall, wasn't yet a cigar fan in those early years.
I recall they were OK... I'm sure they were much better'n OK, I just didn't know any better at the time.

I have about 6 12-13 yr old La Gloria's given to me by one of my Soldiers when I retired. I smoke one a year and they just keep aging, well, Gloriously.
Haven't had a recent La Gloria but am told they have ALMOST held to standards of a decade ago.
Meh

Best cigar is a matter of personal opinion/taste. I have the Anejo, Opus X, My father, Illusion and several others that I have yet to try. Tried Ashtons, San Cristobals and Don Peppins and didn't care for them. Of those I have tried, many of the favorites are Gurkhas.

Hey Gummy, got any Gurkha Black Dragon Fury Nublizers to trade ?

After the Patriots clip the wings on those Eagles and are firmly atop their pedestal,I think I'll celebrate with a CoRo from 06............or maybe an RyJ Exhibicion #3 from 08.
