I don't know what it is about our street, but a few times a year people drive into oncoming lane, then off to the left side of the street, hit one of the three trees with no bark left, and then go tumbling down a 40ft ravine.
My street is straight as can be. Few hills, but smooth and straight. It's only eastbound cars that do it. It's a 30mph road, and about 1000 feet up the road from where the crashies come is a 4way stop.
Just had another at 4pm. Sun still out, roads are clear and dry.
Several prior crashes were from smackheads. I didn't respond to this one, fire dept was already there before I had my boots on.
