This is what "a porter" looks like to dkeage.

We agreed on a swap of some local fare. What showed up were five Pipeline Porters plus a bomber of Black Butte XXV 25th Birthday Reserve. The cap is wax sealed! I'll have the sommelier put it on ice tonight.

From the label: "Malt beverage brewed with dates, figs and cocoa nibs with 50% being aged in bourbon barrels and 12.5% with black currant added." Sounds delicious to me. You can keep your hoppy IPAs and give me a good malted porter or stout any day.
