Heck Yeah, I am as excited as a kid in a candy shop.

So I have been tracking this one waiting on them to land so I can give them a go since everyone spoke so highly of em. I open up the box to not only find not one but 2 of the Cupido Tuxedos and some tagalongs as well. None of which I have ever had. I got an odd feeling this is going to be better than eating Apple Pie for the first time in my life.

Here are the damages and if I make a mistake correct me please sir Jespear. Being blind is a bitch!

La Flor Dominicana Coronado
AVO Signature
Arturo Fuente – Casa Cuba Flor Fina
2x Cupido Tuxedo

Also Jespear was kind enough to send me a card that I assume is custom cause dang it sure looks nice? The note inside informed me of how limited these are now due to no longer in production so that makes em even more special.

Brother, I can not say thank you enough. Your generosity and kindness knows no bounds.

Nice! I like how he said no funny business and then sends an extra three nice cigars! Well deserved though. Enjoy! I have one of the Cupido Tuxedo cigars resting in my humidor.

La Flor Dominicana Coronado - The "Hammer"
Original blend, rolled exclusively for
_ _ _ _ _ (insert competitor reference)

AVO Signature
Best AVO ever, IMHO

Arturo Fuente – Casa Cuba Flor Fina
Old man Fuente's personal blend that he decided to make available to the public a few years ago.
( If you believe the press releases)

2x Cupido Tuxedo
We all know the story behind these.

Also Jespear was kind enough to send me a card that I assume is custom cause dang it sure looks nice?
$2.99 a box at Christmas Tree Shoppes !

No problem, Chris. You're quite welcome.
I enjoy turning people onto the Tuxedos . . . or ANY obscure gem that I find, for that matter.

Enjoy, my friend.

No funny business here, Hankster. Just rounding out the "fiver", that's all.

I have one of the Cupido Tuxedo cigars resting in my humidor.
Smoke it ! I'm SURE it's rested enough.

Casa Cuba is a real throwback blend, if you dig medium cigars you'll love it. Awesome selection, those hammers are goooood.

Nice hit John.

Not to be confused with a Padron Hammer.

The Casa Cuba line IMO is one of the best extensions from a maker in many years. I really like the Doble Tres, that one looks like the Divine Inspiration.

Has it been confirmed the Tuxedo's are not longer in production!? I haven't been able to get an answer from the "Crafters".

Hey Napalm,

I just now got in from the Drs office and called Cuban Crafters just a second ago. The young lady informed me that the only Cupido they have left is

Cupido Criollo Cigars - Comandante Cigar - 25 Churchill in Cedar Box - 7 Inches X 50
$129.99

Cupido Criollo Doble Cigar - 25 In Cedar Box - 5 1/2 X 50
$119.99

She said that the Tuxedos are no longer in production and they have no plans in bring them back any time soon. A heartbreaker for sure. I am about to find out how much so as I am going to have my first one tonight.

Yo Ron.
You are correct. The Casa Cuba is the Divine Inspiration. It's the only vitola my local had.

As far as the Tuxedos . . . Here is my email and their reply.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE . . .
Can someone tell me WHEN the CUPIDO TUXEDOS will be back in stock.
I'm down to my last few and I'm panicking !

(Not really. I just put that in for effect, so don't get any ideas, you dipschitz !)
Thank you.
John

Their reply:
Unfortunately, we do not have an estimate at the moment as they are not being produced. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Thank you.

OF COURSE, she wouldn't give you a reason as to why.
Maybe if we all got together and promised to buy them all up, they would change their mind. d'oh!

All right all right.

I was able to fire up one of the Tuxedos at 2:38 am. She lasted me an hour which is great for me because I typically rush but I wanted to take in and savor every second. I used my Savoy cutter due to it was a birthday gift, was my first "Real" cutter and it does not get to see the light of day often. I am sentimental about things like that. I made a "D1ck Cut" No pun intended and fired her up.

While smoking it I was noticing first how toothy this cigar was. Then got to delve into the fact that even though some are still around it is one of the few left in the entire universe as of right now to my knowledge. I got to ponder how lucky I was to get to experience such thanks to my brother Jespear and his kindness. I did try to ring Jesper due to I would have loved to have chatted with him a bit while smoking such but life being what it is I am sure he was occupied with more important things. I did leave you a message though J. I got to think about how lucky I am to have brothers such as Jes and the rest of you guys in what tinny life I have. I got to thinking about Jespear getting to be a new granpappy, Mrs Amelia, then brothers like Snowflake and his boveda eating pupper lol you know who you are, and Corey, Matt, Allen, Rick, Frank etc list goes on and on.

Now to the Tuxedo. Burn was great, the taste was astounding to me. I would call this a medium cigar for myself, and the flavor was awesome. There was something I noticed that I have not got from any other cigar as of yet to my knowledge. Call me crazy but I noticed how clean and crisp it was. Odd like when I eat a cucumber. Not the taste but the clean and crisp feeling kind of thing. Hell, I can't even put to words on how to explain it. One of the things I love when I eat say fresh cucumbers or celery is that green, crisp, clean taste not of the food or flavor itself but more a taste/feeling if that even makes a lick of sense. Or when I smell fresh cut grass or smell early morning cool fresh air. Any how, This is what I found unique about it.

Jespear I thank you again sir not only for the stogies but the experience that came with it. You made me a lucky man indeed.

Chris,
Glad you not only liked the cigar, but that you had such a cerebral experience with it as well.
Not many people around these parts have had negative things to say about the Tuxedos.
Here's hoping that they will come back into production in the future.

Sorry I missed your call, but my battery was on zero. I'm very bad at keeping an eye on the charge. I'm also very bad about checking voice mails, but I will check yours out as soon as i get done typing this .

Again . . . Glad you liked the Tuxedo, and am looking forward to your impressions of the other "tag-a-longs" as well.
They are all up there on my "favorites" list, and I like to compare what others think of them. Be honest. You won't hurt my feelings if they're not to your liking.
