Robert Mueller’s Interest in Jared Kushner Reportedly Expanding into Foreign Business Dealings

A new report indicates that special counsel Robert Mueller is increasing the scope of his probe into Jared Kushner and his financial endeavors during Donald Trump‘s presidential transition period.

CNN states that Mueller’s investigation has taken interest in the Russian contacts held by the president’s son-in-law. This interest has caused an expansion of the investigation, which will now look at Kushner’s conversations with foreign business leaders, and his efforts to encourage them to invest in his family’s organization.

When Trump was still president-elect, Kushner was one of the most-contacted figures by foreign governments hoping to get in touch with his father-in-law. Now that these interactions are likely to be scrutinized, it is possible that Mueller will look into Kushner Companies’ financial state, as well as their dealings with Russian, Chinese and Qatari organizations.

Mueller’s Russia investigation has been more talked about than usual for the last few days, thanks to the indictments against multiple Russian entities involving 2016 election interference. Trump, for his part, has responded by attacking his various political enemies.

I thought we were doing the "come on down" thing for sexual misconduct? Are we doing that for treason too?

It can't be treason,(very specific crime), but treasonous behavior works.

However, Jared, like the rest of the White House scum, is going to go to jail for trying to enrich himself while on the US taxpayer's dime.

Lock him up!

Can't find collusion or obstruction so now we're here... Sad if you think about it.. someone at CNN is pressuring Mueller to keep digging because he still can't find anything... If he doesn't he'll have to answer why not... Mellow

Couldn't find anything on Whitewater either.
Funny how that happens.

Only the orange f**ktard says that there is no collusion (which isn't a crime) or obstruction.
Doesn't matter what that babbling a-hole says, the only thing that matters is whatever Mueller comes up with.

Lock them up!

Drafter, why don't you get on your Trump phone and report the subversive activities going on here. That's what snitches do in totalitarian countries like North Korea. Critical thinking on the other hand is frowned on. Muellers investigation is allowed to go wherever the information takes it. Carry on comrade Drafter. Did they issue you a little orange book?

If there is no enrichment, but just interference or collusion, Kushner will be pardoned. You think that trump wouldn't do that for his "golden child" daughter?

Actually Drafter, I think it's honest. Many Americans deeply hate what he has done to our nation. There are to many lemmings running around who are unwilling to see the damage he does every day. If he was a Democrat I think most if not all of us who disparage him now would still be disparaging him. He is a cancer and is destroying us. Think hard, why won't he call out Putin even though it has been proved without a shadow of a doubt that the Russians interfered with our presidential election. This is tantamount to war? Why won't he impose the additional sanctions congress has approved? I and many others aren't interested in wearing blinders.

Is 'crooked' or 'liar' derogatory if it's true... Cause everyone knows it is... Just because the FBI was scared of her and didn't prosecute doesn't make her innocent...

Z, you certainly are predictable. What would you call a systematic attack on our election process? Oh, wait that's right, you prolly don't believe it happened cause that Mueller guy is just out to get Trump because he likes the Democrats so much. I think you would do better clicking your heels together 3 times so you can get outta Oz. Reality, what a concept. I would rather like McCain than Putin. Remember, follow the yellow brick road. Good deflections Drafter. Trump hasn't locked her up. Guess he didn't have enough evidence to convict her. Everyone, really? Just here I can think of 6 or 7 that would disagree with that statement. Innocent until proven guilty. That goes for Trump too. Stick with facts, not conjecture.

The FBI announced it was reopening an investigation in to her right before the election. It probably cost he the election but who knows.

I do agree with you though drafter our past President had a responsibility and should have done more. He was in a bad place because had he made a huge issue of what he knew (like dbag harry reid did) Trump, the republicans and drafter would have all cried foul and made a huge issue of it. But the President has an obligation to do the right thing regardless of what the partisan hacks and their mind numbed minions will do.

Now our past President is gone and we have a new one. I expect him to do the right thing no matter of what the partisan hacks and mind numbed minions think. He needs to address the Russian hacking, fake news and misinformation machine regardless of his personal stake or the other garbage. I'm sure he will do it. He seems to want to do the right things.

Drafter you have really sold your integrity. I'd still smoke one with you and drink a few beers because I love ya. But louie dog says he's not so sure he want's to.

O accused the Ruskies, levied sanctions, kicked several out of the country.
Trump said the Ruskies were innocent, he admired Putin, and failed to impose the sanctions...

Sorry X, but it sounds like you are backing the guy who goes against what you want to see.

And quoting Trump's misleading statements that O did nothing...see my above comments...plus until this week, Trump said none of it happened but now he's outraged that not enough was done.

I don't want to dump him. I even hope the investigation clears him. It would be better for all of us.

Just call things like you really see them. I can't help but think you defend things you know damn good and well are indefensible. A pretty good test for you is to pretend Hillary or Obama did or said some of the things he does. How would you react.

Not everything he says is absurd or wrong. But some is. You can argue about how much and balance. But you went from everything obama and hill did is bad to defending everything trump does. And you are comfortable with it. supporting a party or person does not mean you have to check your integrity at the door. Just know in here you will be called a lib LOL

As I said, I know (or at least hope) you don't really believe some of the things you say in his defense.

#31 do I believe it happened?

Your damn straight. And it didn't surprise me.

I'll remind you Barry Hussein Obama spent taxpayer monies to interfere with our ALLY Israel's PM election. Barry also stated before the election that Cheeto was "complaining" at Un unprecedented level about election fraud and that an election couldn't be effected due to the decentralized nature of our elections (pretty sure that is verbatim).

Context of scale means nothing now is a thoughtful debate? The sky isn't falling. They also ran anti trump rallies.

Russia is not an ally. Part of why I took 4 years of russian language.

spying and espionage is a funny business. everyone likes to think it's ok when their side does it to another country, but bad when another country does it to them.

When our country gets caught doing it to another country I expect the other country to react. I don't expect them to say oh well we all do it.

When another country does it to ours I expect us to react. I don't expect us to embrace or ignore it because it meets one party or one persons needs.

I hope trump and his crew are found to have nothing to do with it, or at least unknowing. I really don't want a situation where 1/3 of the country accepts a major political candidate working with foreign intel units as OK. I just think it will be bad for the country.

I also think it needs investigation and we should be taking action right now to get them to knock it off regardless of who won or who's political party gets bent over it. Id guess both have dirty hands. Lets find out what happened and clean up. Trying to stifle the investigation helps no one but the ruskies.
