UPDATE :

The King may have a challenger. Right now I'm smoking a Partagas Black Label, never had one before. Its a pretty luscious smoke.

I think its similar to the CAO Brazilia. Tough to guage which one is better.

So.............you've been smoking cigars for 10+ years, and currently, the modern CAO Brazilia and Partagas Black are the 2 best cigars ever...

Either you are trolling or you are absolutely clueless... I'm tending to think it's the latter.

If by chance you're not trolling, do yourself a favor and splurge on a Padron 1926 Anniversary Maduro, then tell me those aforementioned cigars are the best ever.

NOW we are getting somewhere GNF........yes......that cigar is garbage.
Tell me the one thing that annoyed you the most about that cigar.
If you actually smoked it, you will answer with a certain complaint.
If you answer correctly, Z will take you camping..........winter camping GNF!!........a rare treat..............you move right to the front of the line!

So, tell me about the 5 Vegas Maduro.

so many years ago I really liked CAO's. When the Brazillias arrived I had to wait for ever until the ammonia died off, and then they were quite good.
But it's been a good 5 or 7 years since I've considered buying more.

Oliva makes something for everyone and probably all are well made. I never see anyone mention the S series, but they were around for just a few years and back then I thought they were pretty good...but short lived and cancelled.

I'm now at the point where the MB3's and V's are usually too strong for me.

It's been awhile since I had it but I remember it as being soapy tasting and 1 dimensional

Ding Ding Ding!!
We have a winnah!
Frank, you are correct!
That wrapper was used on the space shuttle to protect it during re-entry to our atmosphere, and the fine folks at 5 Vegas figured it would make a great cigar wrapper as well.
But you're too much like a genius and stuff to go winter camping with Z, so....

GNF! You win! Most people couldn't keep one lit long enough to get that soapy tang you describe, so as a prize for your flame throwing cigar lighting prowess, YOU get to go winter camping with Z.

Just send him a PM to make arrangements.

The CAO Brazilia has got to be one of the most outstanding cigars ever. It is so consistent with great flavor, draw and construction every time. It's also a unique cigar with the Brazilian wrapper and cool looking band.

On top of all that it's priced way cheaper than alot of cigars that are half as good.

If its your King then good for you. Never had a CAO that did anything for me. "De gustibus non est disputandum." fog

Along with Hank, I also like The Partagas Black. In fact it is the second best cigar I ever smoked....yesterday. (Out of a total of 2 smoked. Winner was an Oliva V Melanio).

That's the Melanio for you, sneaks in there FTW. For me there's not much that can beat a Melanio...

I think I figured it out, if you prefer a vinaigrette over ranch, mustard over ketchup, chips over cookies, etc...

You'll probably really like the Melanio. If not, then you're probably a maddieho (stole term from z).

This pretty much sums up my feelings on CAO's. Just replace pork with CAO.

$3? Sheesh, I've never paid more then $2 and have gotten them as cheap as $1.10, but that was a couple years ago. Today I'd have no interest in these at any price.

Nevermind I found it. 3 dollars is the STARTING price fucktard, naturally they are going to sell for way more than that ( like everything on this site) . In CAO Brazilia's case however, they are worth it.

Pretty sure you're in the minority here noob.

I can think of about 20 different cigars off the top of my head at around the $3 price point that I would buy.

See, I think you might have f**ked up your taste buds from all those years of smoking crack, which is ok!

Smoke what you like.

Bahahahaha

I don't know how long this guy has been smoking cigars, but I can give him some credit because when I first smoked the Brazilia, I also thought it was the best cigar in the world. Couple months later, after trying more stuff, I was over it. I mean, I would still smoke it but nowhere near the best cigar ever.
