I would say yes, but the German Shepherd that was forced on us because Rocco had passed away, Well, he would look funny with longer legs.

The Rat/Mt Goat thing that the wife brought home, that lil phuger needs what legs its got cut off.

Poor Daisy well I think she would have issues if I got her some leg extensions since she only has 3 legs. Would be fun to watch though. Gonz

For the phishing calls I've been doing a couple of things:

1. I totally d*ck with them and see how far I can string them along. Could be anything from speaking in my best broken English - Japanese, pidgin English, Chinese, etc. and act as if I can't understand them or misinterpret what they're saying. After a while they figure it out / get frustrated and hang up.

2. If I "miss" the call then I'll call them back and tell them the person they're trying to reach has died. Recently the phishing area code has been 808 - Hawaii - and it's the same MO - they're calling for someone named Heather and trying to reach her about a financial situation that needs to be taken cared of immediately. Sorry, Heather died and everytime you call it makes me sad and I start to think of her and it makes me cry.

Seems to work and odd as it may seem, makes me want to pick up those calls and talk to them!

I know, I know, kinda weird but hey, why not have some fun with it? Wink

I ask them if they are into anal sex. They usually hang up and never call back.

Don't get me wrong we do have some sunny days but here recently nope. The river has been flooding for almost a month now. Flood warning now is till Monday. I am about 30 minutes from the river and my back yard looks like a muddy pigpen. Dogs cant even go out without coming back in with mud on their undercarriage. This I can deal with but, when it is gray all the time its like living in Akron OH.

Who the **** got to decide that towel bars and toilet paper holders should be attached with impossible to see, self-loosening, soft and strippable, set-screws???? I want a word with him...or more likely, her. Designed to be invisible, but not designed to stay firmly attached to any sheetrock wall ever made.

This reminded me of something I read that made me laugh (it's been around for awhile)
Here it is:

Yesterday I was buying a large bag of Purina dog chow for Athena, my
wonder dog at Wal-Mart and was in the check out line. A woman behind me
asked if I had a dog. What did she think I had, an elephant? So since
I'm retired, with little to do, on impulse, I told her that no, I didn't
have a dog, and that I was starting the Purina Diet again. I probably
shouldn't, I continued, because I'd ended up in the hospital last time.
I awoke in an intensive care ward with tubes coming out of most of my
orifices and IVs in both arms. However, I did lose 40 pounds on the
diet, so I was giving it another go.

I told her that it was essentially a perfect diet and that the way that
it works is yo u load your pockets with Purina nuggets and simply eat
one or two every time you feel hungry. The food is nutritionally
complete and I needed to lose a few more pounds. (I have to mention here
that practically everyone in the line was, by now, enthralled with my
story.)

Horrified, this woman asked if I ended up in intensive care because I'd
been poisoned by the dog food. I told her no, it happened because I
stepped off a curb to sniff an Irish Setter's behind and a car hit both of
us.

I thought the guy behind her was going to have a heart attack he was
laughing so hard!

WAL-MART won 't let me shop there anymore.

I have been fighting this problem for months myself. The holder is loose but no matter what size set screw tool I use it does not fit and I can't tighten or loosen the set screw. Not even sure the little bass turd is there anymore. Too close to the ground and the wall for me to get a good look. I have come close to ripping the holder off the wall in frustration.

Is there only one bilingual (Russian/English) actor alive? How come Oleg and Yvgenny have to be the same actor, much less character....two of the very few shows worth watching and both tainted by having the exact same character and actor at the same time.

Ya, I was having that problem with my toilette paper holder too. The previous owners of my house did a hack job on everything, including the toilette paper holder attached to our bathroom cabinet. One night I said screw it and just bolted it to the thing, haven't had a problem with it since.

Anyway, my rant of the day is needy ass clients that every time they want a new feature will start claiming that there's bugs or some arbitrary problem that they come up with in their heads that's not actually a bug trying to get free work out of me.

It don't work... if I work on your sh1t, I'm sending you a bill, that's all there is to it.

Edit:

And they all seem to think that they're the only ones to ever think of that strategy? Come on people, I've been doing this for 15 friggin years, you don't think I've seen all the plays in the playbook by now?

Amazon's on my list today.

Was looking at a notebook yesterday and an Echo. Prime offered me free same-day shipping, so, figured..."we're home today, best to do it now, since on Tues (normal 2day), we'd both be gone for the day. Last night I get the message "Sorry. Package delayed in transit - Now expected Nov 5- Nov 6. Flook that.....I may not have pulled that trigger now if I knew I had to worry about it getting stolen off the front steps. A says it was 'out for delivery' last night....my ass....they probably never intended for same day del'y....they just throw that carrot out there to increase the chance of a buy....and forget about trying to actually contact a person there

One of my big pet peeves . . .

You pull up behind a car that is in the lane where you can either go straight or make a left turn, and the dipschitt waits for the light to turn green, THEN he/she puts on their turn signal. ram27bat

I'll add traffic circles to that. Always some timid asshat who stops before entering even though no one in his lane. And it's snowbird season. d'oh!

Not sure where you live, jespear, but I'll bet it isn't Rhode Island. I lived there for almost five years and don't think I ever saw a turn signal

Received the notebook and the echo last night just before 10pm. No clue where they were for a day.

Despite my privacy concerns, the echo works like a champ and does exactly what I wanted it to do; primarily radio, news, music, etc. and does it well.

The laptop, on the other hand.....Windows 10 POS. Less than 12 hours old....already had to reset the fn thing....wouldn't let me in...at alll. Probably because I tried to make it go to google last night....what a pita

Same here Delta, even 15-20 years ago when we used to go to Cancun for 3 weeks, the middle of that third week seemed to say it's time to go home.

Can 4 weeks be too short of a vacation? Where I work, we accrue extra weeks over time, an extra week every 5 years. Anyway I am close to my 4th week and I am looking at going to somewhere in South America for a month. The real question is will I want to return at all, after being gone for a month.

We have medical, but it doesn't include buds or edibles- only pills, tinctures and vaping. Unfortunately, the listed conditions it is a available for is very narrow. In two years we vote on recreational.

I want all perfumes and colognes outlawed. Today. Forever. If I can smell it, you've got too much or its too strong. Coworkers in confined office spaces got no business smelling up the place. And, waitresses?!?!Really?!? WTF..... And other patrons in restaurants....can absolutely ruin a meal. I can only guess that you're trying to cover up some smell of yours that's even worse....take a fn shower and leave the perfume alone.
