You fillin' out a bracket?

Mine is purely speculation, as I haven't really followed college BB this year. Much like every other year. But it's March Madness, so you fill out a bracket.

I typically don't watch much college ball until the conference tourneys start. I love March Madness though. There is no better contest in sports in my opinion.

Not me, I find the idea of filling one out prematurely a waste of my energy. Thus I say, good luck with your brackets. If you really want to tempt fate, play the precious metals market.

I used to be hardcore into the brackets but then one year I just stopped caring. Haven't filled one out in a few years. Just no interest anymore. I will follow it but not much.

I have been that way with basketball in general, used to love it but not so much anymore.

Plus, with the brackets, got annoyed with kids and people that know nothing about basketball, beating me. It is more about luck than anything.

I absolutely love the tournament. To me it is the best time of the year in all of sports. I used to analyze matchups and all that and do pretty decent every year in office pools.

What I figured out is it is much more fun to enjoy the games by not filling out a bracket. It's really hard to root against Duke or Kansas to go out early because you have to pick them to go deep in the tournament. Those feel good underdog stories feel much better when you aren't pizzed they took out one of your final four teams.

per usual, I saw a total of a couple hours of college hoops this year, not counting ESPN type high lights.
Still,, I toss my $20 into the pot and fill out the brackets. Lost on a tie breaker a couple years ago.

But I'm in another pool that uses squares, way more fun. $100 entry...first round $50/game and up from there. And there are no seemingly bad numbers as might happen in the Super Bowl.

this year I have 2 (higher seed) and 8 (lower seed).

They've got a good chance to get to the Final in the tournament...

I filled one out years ago. Had Kansas to win it. Kansas won it. I won about $2500. Blew it all the same night I won it buying drinks for everyone the rest of the night. Didn't give any shits then....don't give any now.

won two games tonight, higher seed 2, lower seed 8.
pays $100, equal to the buy in. Pay out goes up from here and I have my buy in back.
So much more fun than brackets, every game is a potential win.

yep...and it blew up my bracket...had VA going all the way...d'oh!

Weird, but VA now is associated with two of the biggest upsets in college basketball history: the loss to Chaminade when ranked No.1 years ago, and now as the first ever No.1 team losing in the Tourney to a 16 seed...

Good thing I made 3 brackets, eh? I had UVA winning it all in one.

My best bracket is at 93% and has Villanova winning the trophy. Other one has MSU winning, but it's at 82% now.

because of that, I asked for a Chaminade cap (and received from) Conan. Loved that Ralph Sampson lost.
