Only starts out at $1 and only one person bidding on all 40 lots, so why did he not get them for $1 each?

Looks like he just put in his max bid on all 40 units , and didn't use "autobid". d'oh!

Didn't we discuss this yesterday* or an auction just like it ? Apparently there is a $2 bid minimum bid increment -tho none is shown anywhere.

* post 29 New Auction guidelines topic. BTW, SD is South Dakota

Yes, that's exactly what he/she did. $940 worth of Ava Maria, sheesh. d'oh!

.....not enough drama was generated in those few posts seeing this is the first time I have EVER seen anyone claim 40 Packs of 5 in any one auction!

.....bidders probably tried to score a 5 pack or two and quit at $23.50. You usually can score the cigar for under $4 per when they offer a decent amount. Paying over $5 per in most cases is to much for an internet only cigar.

.....What I still don't follow is why he is winning them at $23.50? I have to bid $25.50 with 50 cent Max Bid increases to claim one. Should be bid $24 and then 50 cent each attempt to outbid him. I THINK LOL! Maybe i'll send C.S. that question?

see, this shat doesn't make any sense to me. Why am I winning one at $25 and the leads dudes are winning them at $22? Everyone ahead of me should be at $25 or $24.50!

Seriously RAH...............you've been here long enough to know the answer to your question about the 2 dudes at $22.

It rhymes with "spatinum nembership".

On top of the $940 for cigars, there is $5.95 for shipping the first fiver and $0.50 per fiver for the next 39 units for a total of $25.45 in shipping.

And cbid will spend a grand total of $3.75 with the ups super saver program... such a scam...

No, it's even WORSE than that, because this lot falls under "Specials", and thus drops into the "All Others" category for shipping ($1.00 per unit).........so those fivers gonna cost $45.95 to ship...........cbid will likely clear $40 or so on the shipping........

Awesome!

Why has no one explained this to RAH ? I would, but I doubt he would understand the principles of auction time and multiple items..

Hmmm, last time I bought divinias I got them for 13.50 per fiver.

I like the smoke, but I don't like it enough to pay over $4 per for 800 of them.

.....well this is what I got back from C.S. It makes sense I guess..
My Comment 3/20/2018
Something is WRONG with this auction. It says ONE person is winning 39 packs of 5 of the Divinia Toro for $23.50. It then says to challenge his bid you have to bid $25.50? Why not bid $24.00, then if I don't beat his max I try $24.50 and so on until i do??? And then it says ONE bidder is winning ONE Pack of 5 for $30.00, $6.50 more then the lead bidder? It makes no sense to me. https://www.cigarbid.com...toro-pack-of-5/2844702/

Good afternoon Mr. Hudzinski,
Thank you for contacting CigarBid.com. I understand your concern. The current bid to win is $25.50 as the lot is working in $2 increments. Regarding the $30 bid, that person chose to bid that exact amount.
I hope you find this information helpful. If there is anything else I can assist you with please let me know.
Sincerely,
Damarie
Customer Service

.....SO I guess if I bid $25.50 and DON'T overcome his Max I'll have to bid $27.50 and so on. But his MAX bid was $23.50 and he ended up winning 187 of the 6" x 54 Ave Maria Divinia Toro for $869.50 & $ 23.95 S&H. I guess the fact that you have to bid in 50 CENT increments means nothing here.

.....and as for the guy who won ONE at $30.00??? he CHOSE to bid $30 LOL!!! WTF!!!! I'll just CHOOSE to throw away an extra $4.50 for the hell of it.

Ave Maria Divinia (Toro) (6.0"x54) Pack of 5

As predicted. The auction is not as messed up as the person obsessed with it.
