South Carolina, sanctuary state for The Constitution.

A group of Republican state legislators in South Carolina introduced a measure Thursday that would allow the state to secede from the United States if the federal government began to seize legally purchased firearms in the state.

Somebody has to stop these High School minors from really screwing the 2nd Admendment rights we currently have...
Bloomberg & Hogg need to be stopped now by the NRA and all the Sportsman Associations and gun companies before this state by state chipping away of gun rights continues.

Gaddam I hate that state. I hope they do it just to watch those hicks lose their minds. I doubt it would start the second "War Of Northern Aggression" because no one outside SC would care.

Thanks! LOL I figured you might react to this post. I am amazed at the other auctions, this time SC would succession would be because the country has not followed The Constitution. It's just a proposed bill to get a reaction, it will likely never get to the floor let along out of committee.

To all those thinking about a rerun of the Civil war, South Carolina is not all cotton fields anymore. First thing we'd do is embargo BMWs, Michelin and Bridgestone tires, bearings for most autos and Boeing airliner assemblies.

Mr Robinson said it. It is the majority that is punished for those that do wrong. He hit that nail right on the head and I agree with him 150%. The man has my support and utmost respect. I would love to see more like him come out of the woodworks.

does anyone really believe that the federal government will swoop in and confiscate everyone's guns? That's as ridiculous as an apocalyptic race war, which seems to be the motivator for some obsessive gun and ammo hoarding...brilliant marketing...

Swoop in and take them? Not so much. Make them harder to obtain? Yup. Make it harder to buy ammunition? Yup.

They'll get where they want to be by attrition, if we allow it.

"harder to obtain" is a loooooooong way from "seize". Not one state, even the ones with the most restrictive gun laws, prohibit owning guns and ammo...

A group of Republican state legislators in South Carolina would be better served dealing with reality. Of course, that could very well be a contradiction in terms.

Now now... to be fair the main groups involved in smoking bans have clearly expressed a primary goal of eliminating tobacco use.
