My Inland M1 Carbine, rebuilt after the war at an arsenal in Washington State.
Like many mine is a mix of parts from different companies, but she shoots so straight I don't care what part is where.
I was going through extractors but now it seems that my gunsmith has found some NOS, he put one in about two months ago and last friday I took it to the range to find out.
Being built for combat I did not go easy on it.
Slapped a 18" splatter onto a torso target and ran it out to the max length of 75' and ran 15 rounds through in an instant.
I was rewarded with 12 in the blue.
Proceeded to run through 5 more magazines at a quick pace and that rifle was back where it belonged, putting rounds downrange quickly.
Had a 8" on the head, that dang little carbine puts bullets where I want them to go! Not as well as my RR but darn good enough for a 70 year old combat rifle and iron sights.
