I'd be cool, if had stayed forgotten ....lol

I think I'd even put Katrina and the Waves in before Mungo....tbh, I could have listed ten War songs and been satisfied with the list

Anyone who takes Springsteen over Manfred, I'm not saying they should be put to death or anything like that, but they should definitely - at a bare minimum - be voted off the island...

I have to agree !
Back in my single days, (40 years ago), when my buddies and I would hit the beach, we wore the grooves off of the
"All Day Music" LP . . . especially Side 2 !

I'm going fishing with Al today. Just waiting for him to arrive so we can get going.

Rise and shine, fellas.
It's a beautiful cool rainy Sunday morning, here in Ridley Park.
I'm ecstatic that my basement didn't flood after last night's downpour.
Now, decisions, decisions, decisions . . . Think
Jamaican Blue Mountain or Cafe du Mond (with chicory) .
Problem solved. I'll have one of each ! ThumpUp

Have a great Sunday !

Morning fellas.

Grey and overcast here, but the garden and lawn look great.
Time for coffee and a little stoicism on the balcony.

Happy Sunday!

Sunny and pleasant here.

Re plumbed the tank and the drains, replaced the valves and fittings with brass instead of plastic.

Too damn tired to do more today. Times running short now. Failure is not an option. Gonna shoot for waking early and pressure test before work tonight.

Then re-close the belly pan and adjust brakes in the morning tomorrow.

Got one more bracket to make. I think a pair of 4x4 timbers will fit the bill temporarily, since I already cut em to hold the tank while I bolted it to the floor.

Indeed...MACS took me out to his Happy Hunting Grounds, his nickname for the pleasure zone, in his snazzy white convertible. It was cozy, yet roomy enough for us to roll and bounce around in. He let me use his lucky pole: not long, but stiff, yet flexible....perfect for what was yet to come...

It was a calm cruise...until the pole's tip started popping and twitching and jerking and the round mound at its base started singing...the pole stiffened with all the pulling...and bent to the side to side action...in and back out...too many times to remember...rhythmic and circular hand motions...my body twisted this way and that...lost my balance several times as the convertible swayed to and fro...the exertion was fatiguing...but slowly and surely, the payoff was in view...the last few pumps were strenuous and furious...and MACS used his supple hands to bring it home...my first yellowtail!!!

First yellowtail fish...

We both enjoyed a Montecristo petit robusto afterwards, murmuring about the fantastic event that just happened...
