Summer solstice, the longest day of the year...

as it should be, so my wife and I can celebrate longer on the day of our wedding anniversary ...38 great years...best decision of my life...not sure if she can say the same...

Wife took the kids to her parents for a few hours so i made a bacon cheeseburger smothered in bbq sauce... sat in bed in my underwear and killed the burger and then washed it down with a chocolate covered ice cream bar... and then a drumstick... pants are back on, smoking a cigar in the garage...

Depends... The rule on the boat is no beer until someone lands a fish, or the captain says so. Monday that was around 7:50 am.

On the days we don't catch fish that early... all I can say is it's a good thing I'm the captain.

Thanks for the kind sentiments, gentlemen...we celebrated with thick ribeyes and big artichokes...followed by cheesecake (which was not as good as what Joel and his wife made for the Morro Bay FishnHerf)
