Trump:
"the democrats want an open borders"

This has been a mantra since he accused Hillary back in 2016. But he's been saying it louder and with more frequency in recent days.

Elizabeth Warren 3 days ago:
"we must abolish ICE".

And now half the democrats are joining this battle cry, while the other half are trying to defend it by explaining what she really meant.

I hope the Dems run on this all the way to November. If they do, I can see the Reps holding on to the House, and gaining a super majority in the Senate.

This stuff may play well to their base, but it turns off many blue collar Democrats and Independents.

It's time for all the closet Trump supporters to come out. There is a potential to reverse some of the liberal policies and maybe liberal thinking. (ok, it's nice to have a dream)

I have not been happy with the Democrats in a long time. I used to canvass for a couple candidates about ten years ago but the whole Dem platform has gone to hell in a handbasket. The media is about as bad as pravda these days. All of these insane witchunts in the name of "political correctness;" It's worriesome.

Guess where this is from:

"Critics of Trump receive a constant complaint: “You don’t know who your friends are or, even worse, who the enemy is.” Warming to the “moral equivalent of war” — in this case, the Cold War — they insist that we must smile and nod and happily swallow whatever unsalted s**t sandwich is being served up today because to do anything else is to give aid and comfort to the “cultural Marxists,” one of the most ridiculous bits of voguish new terminology on the right. For them, it’s always the end of the country, the republic hanging by a thread. It’s a fundamentally unserious view of the world that serves mainly to provide its adherents with a form of emotional catharsis that is not at its root about politics at all. They get a frisson of virility when they hear the president — the president of the United States of America — describe his political rivals as “treasonous.” The idea that opposition to the Big Boss is opposition to the nation itself — that to criticize the Big Boss is treason — is a very ancient superstition, and a very stupid one.

But these are stupid times, especially for Republicans, who in their pursuit of fleeting political advantage must pretend to be something other than what they are and pretend that Trump is something other than what he is."

The dissolution of ICE would be a huge mistake. They play a vital role in the security of the United States. ICE takes its orders from a sub cabinet member appointed by the president. To any who feel that ICE is acting in an improper manner, the answer lies in the administration.

Meh.
ICE is just an agency. It's only been in place for 15 years. If ICE were "abolished" (dumb term for eliminating a government agency) then the specific functions would just be moved back to the agencies which previously had fulfilled those duties. (this is probably not what the protesters want... but it's what would happen... give the agency a new name, everyone forgets how angry they are at it... rinse repeat)

To help deflate tail's mini hard on... trump was wrong.
Trump said "the democrats want an open borders" (was that grammatical mistake trump's or tails? I can't tell any more)

ICE doesn't protect the border. ICE is involved with interior investigations and enforcement. A quick look at the congressional documents surrounding the agencies would show you that US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is responsible for border security. ICE is primarily responsible for investigating immigrants within the US borders.

So unless you've got examples of congresspeople demanding for the abolishment of CBP, your trump is not a prophet.... you just can't see past the orange pubic hair in your face to see that.

A little more than 10 years ago, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) was established as one of three DHS agencies charged with administering the nation's immigration system. ICE was created based on the recognition that global threats have become more dangerous, and a new approach was needed to ensure the security of the U.S. homeland and the American people.

Over the years, ICE has achieved truly impressive results in protecting our nation's borders and enhancing public safety. Today, ICE is more than 20,000 strong with a presence in all 50 states and 48 foreign countries. We are galvanized toward our mission – to promote homeland security and public safety through the enforcement of federal laws governing border control, customs, trade and immigration.

It's the same argument the dems make when they say the Reps want to destroy the government. They prove it much like tail does. The Rs want to get rid of the EPA. They even put an administrator in that wants to get rid of the EPA.

Why do Trump and the Republicans who worship him hate Eagles?

Trump grinds them up, sends them to china and has the kids in his sweat shops use them as dye on his ties before sending them back here.

Funny to watch him go all unhinged on Harley Davidson when he did the same thing. The KC plant was already shutting down and moving production overseas before the tariffs.

True.. true.. but why did Harley blame the tariffs if they were already leaving..?? They were able to save about 10 million due to tax cuts to build their 20 million dollar new plant... You'd think they'd at least say thank you... Mellow

I am in close proximity to two Harley riders...most annoying people in the neighborhood, revving their engines during warm-up before taking off, revving their engines during long pauses at stop signs, revving after each gear change...they prolly don't care how loud their mufflers are cuz their helmets cover their ears...

LBPD used to have a fleet of Harley MC in their motor division and showed that they can run quietly and efficiently...do regular Harley owners just wanna sound/show off ...or purposely wanna pizz people off with their DB blasts...

That may be accurate, but it's not the subject matter.
For instance, Elizabeth Warren is both shrill AND repulsive.

Trump's megalomania has little to do with his ability to call out the future. He can be BOTH.

US Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Vic, when a person claims "open borders" they don't care if ma and pa immigrant dips their toe in our water. They care if they come here to work or reside without permission.
If you think ICE has nothing to do with that, then you're literally making my point regarding the half that are trying to explain it away.

You've become predictable.

Please provide a link to when the Republicans said they wanted to get rid of the EPA.

You can't just say things based on the media's interpretation and then think it's true.
That's the pure definition of fake news. And you're trying to funny and/or make a point, but it falls flat.

The border issue is real, and lizzy borden, I mean Warren really wants to abolish ICE. And so do her followers.
They want people to be able to come here without resistance. Without laws. Because it feels good.
You can't be for a protected border and yet want no one to uphold the laws when they cross illegally.

Well, unless they want a wall or something.

Tail .....Pruitt the guy that just resigned as it’s head... look in to some of his quotes he wanted it abolished. Then he was chosen to be its head and to dismantle it from within. If I’m not mistaken Rick Perry had three agencies he wanted abolished but he couldn’t remember which three.

Your ability to sort through what the press is telling people to think whilerecognizing no one else can is amazing. It allows you to dismiss others while not having to look inward. Bravo.
