Trump stated......

He's trolling people left and right. When the left isn't taking things out of context or calling him a liar they're overreacting and amazingly trusting of his words. But by all means be part of the mob.

That’s a pretty convenient way to discount things. If it helps you sleep at night good for you.

If it's something that's indefensibly dumb it's because he's trolling the left in 12th dimensional chess.

If it's something barely defensible if you change a couple letters or words, then it's a simple error or taken out of context.

The 0.01% of the time it comes out close to accurate, it's important to declare him prophetic.

This should be fun. I bet every Trumpite here attacks. After all, how do you defend the indefensible? The attacking has became their modus operandi. The orange idiot, Trumpites this is a psychiatric history lesson, pay attention. At one time idiot meant an IQ of 0 to 25, imbecile meant an IQ of 26 to 50, and moron meant an IQ of 51 to 70. I think Victor is being generous when he calls him the orange moron. The orange idiot is idolized by the Trumpites, so all they can do is attack.

Trump said he first brought up the subject by trying to negotiate with Putin the extradition of the 25 named Russians, all suspected intel agents, indicted by Special Prosecutor Mueller, investigating Russian interference in the 2016 elections. Trump told Putin that this was very important to the American people.

Trump said he also told Putin, very strongly and sternly, that "we can't have anymore meddling...it's gotta stop, or we'll be forced to take drastic retaliatory measures." Trump said to Putin the American people demand free elections.

Trump said Putin told him he would tell his boys to knock it off, and he would bring the 25 spies with him when he came to visit the US again, in the near future. That's when Putin asked about interrogating US citizens and former ambassadors....

Trump thought , "Dayum...am I a deal-maker or what?"

It's all in the tapes of the meeting...

Dave, I see two major problems with this. An ambassador would have had diplomatic immunity. Everyone else would have due process.

Tailgroaner you are so predictable. I think I'll mix it up a little and call you Ned. This seems to be a fitting name for the leader of the Trumppites. I could agree with you about Trump but then we would both be wrong. Did you eat paint chips when you were a kid? Carry on.

Hey Ned, this just in. Information from Bloomberg.

The Republican-led Senate effectively rebuked President Donald Trump for considering Russia’s request to question U.S. officials, giving voice to growing unease over the president’s shifting policies toward his country’s biggest adversary after his summit with Vladimir Putin.

In a resolution adopted 98-0 on Thursday, senators called on the U.S. to refuse to make any officials available for interrogation by Putin’s government. But what would a unanimous vote matter to a Trumppite like you.

That's even more than the Senate resolution demanding Trump enforce the sanctions against Russia for messing with our elections...which he's mostly ignored...

I hear McFaul is going deep undercover, getting some surgery...and stuff....

What is the remedy for a President who willfully disregards a Congressional resolution?

I think it's awesome when someone gets their granny panties in such a wad, that when they see too many people posting that they disagree with they post a LAM thread about not taking it anymore. Then start posting passive aggressive pablum, and telling people how they should phrase their thoughts......and when they get people egging them on because they agree with him, he feels empowered. Glad you got your mob bro. The very thing you were mad about.......so will we get another LAM thread?

Drafter, if someone chooses to mock me why would you expect me not to mock them? Ned chooses to mock me, so does Z. So I decide to mock them in return. Also, when someone defends Trump, but shows me no logic to back up that defense, and does so regularly without any logic, then I find them meaningless. To me this idea of defense without logic is very centric to Trumps primary base. In this entire thread no one other than Dave has used any logic to defend Trump on the verifiable statements he made regarding letting Russia question Americans. I happen to disagree with Dave and I stated logically why. I don't suffer fools who think deflection, bluster, and stupidity make up for logic.

Gosh, there you go again sunshine, showing your blustering attack. I think you are meaningless not because you voted for Trump, in fact I never said Trumppites voted for Trump. I said they defended him without logic regularly. It looks like your reading comprehension is quite low. So bluster away, that is what incompetent people often do. BTW, are you an only child? I imagine after having you your parents chose to practice birth control.

Wow, that’s a nice insult, Spey. Unfortunately for you, I am not an only child. My mother is a staunch Republican, my father is an independent and I fall somewhere in the middle. I am conservative but believe in being a steward of the land. With that said, the push to more fuel efficient vehicles is just fine with me, it is the reason why my work is expanding like crazy. I am far smarter than people give me credit for, but I don’t believe in pushing my personal views onto another individual, unlike most Democratic individuals I know. I believe in live and let live, unless you back me into a corner.

Ever wonder why liberals are liberals and conservatives are conservatives? This thread had me asking myself that question by the way it went typically off-topic...

Most people I know are whatever their parents were. Most.

Reading this thread made me aware of a couple of things: libs and cons don't only differ on political issues, besides the dissimilar way they actually express themselves (cons shoot from the hip, libs usually have a flower stinking out of their gun), is there something going on at some deeper level?

So I googled it. Found an article about a Yale study that explores this.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/inspired-life/wp/2017/11/22/at-yale-we-conducted-an-experiment-to-turn-conservatives-into-liberals-the-results-say-a-lot-about-our-political-divisions/?noredirect=on&utm_term=.9cc9889abc8f

Essentially it says it comes down to how we subconsciously interpret our safety and survival.
Liberals are willing to manage difficulties, conservatives protect themselves from them.
"Brain imaging studies have even shown that the fear center of the brain, the amygdala, is actually larger in conservatives than in liberals."

Really really interesting experiment. Worth a read...

Very interesting article. On a first read it makes sense. It has so much going on I need to read it a few additional times to properly digest it. Also I will look at a few additional studies for added insight such as the Northwestern study.

Actually the opposite!
Conservatives feel emasculated by their small genital in comparison to libs. They have small priicks but are more often than not, big priicks!
Especially the males.BigGrin
