Just watch any of the 2-3 "GOLD RUSH" TV SHOWS on Discovery and TLC...
Those stupid BASTIDS just RAPE THE LAND, DIG MASSIVE HOLES, PUMP CREAK WATER AND SPRAY THE BANKS APPART...THE streams run brown with dirt and sludge...
No way can trout or salmon or grayling live in that kind of water...WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD GIVE PERMITS TO THOSE A-HOLES TO RUIN THE ENVIROMENT AND KILL NATIVE FISHERIES "AT WILL"...
You never see those WA-WHO'S EVER RECLAIMING AND STREAM HABITAT...YOU COULD NEVER PULL THAT CRAP IN THE LOWER 48...NO WAY IN HELL!!

Obama put the brakes on that project with some specific regulations and it appeared dead in the water, so the Canadian partner who was lobbying hard for it eventually pulled out. Then Trump got elected...appointed Pruitt, who never saw an oil, gas or mining project he didn't like...and here we are.

nuh uh...he was agreeing with the point of my earlier post about the Pebble Mine being disastrous for the beauty of Bristol Bay, and used the show as an illustration, albeit a much smaller in scope illustration, of the potential damage from mining operations...


Obama stopped the Pebble Mine project...hope this clears that up...
