Is anyone else seeing an increase in poorly constructed sticks in the last year?
I usually buy by the box...and I can understand 1-2 smokes that are either un-smokable or you have to fight with them the whole way.
However, it's been much more than that recently.
Maybe just bad luck...or manufacturers are pushing product out too quickly. I recall the same issue in the late 90's at the end of the cigar boom.
Very frustrating.

Last really plugged cigar I had was a Opus Power Ranger from 2003 but I was in the shpo at the time and they replaced it. Guess I have been lucky. A few underfilled here and there. In general the quality and selection is the best I have seen in my 20+ years of smoking long filler cigars.

WHAT BRANDS ARE YOU SMOKING? Can't be the blends I smoke the most from AJ Fernandnez, Oiva, Alec Bradley, Ramon Bueso, Perdomo, or Abe Flores/PDR cigars. Smoked 1000's over the past few years and NEVER had anything close to what you describe. I mean NEVER!
