Son started school yesterday, but it was a practice day... mom was with him the whole time... today is the real deal... lots of anxiety, fears, crying, and a little vomit... but I'm confident I'll eventually be able to compose myself...

My daughter's first year was last year, but she was already an old pro, she went to preschool the previous 2 years.

Did we ever define what the R word stands for?

Pretty sure we didn't, we just know it's bad...

The first 3 seasons of that show were extraordinarily well written... almost unbelievably so... the subsequent attempts at reviving that brilliance in seasons 4 and 5 were miserable failures...

But i would challenge anyone to watch the first 3 episodes of that show and not get hooked... it's a continuous storyline so you gotta watch in order...

My knee replacement surgery qualified me for a disabled parking permit under state guidelines...never applied for one because I'm still almost perfectly ambulatory...

Having worked in campus law enforcement, one of my daily responsibilities was to enforce parking regulations...violations of disabled parking was always the biggest fine - $250 minimum, then ...
we got plenty of complaints about apparently "able-bodied" scoff-laws abusing the privilege with fraudulent or invalid permits...

three of the most embarrassing moments of my career occurred when I confronted two faculty members and one student about violating the disabled zones...all three pulled out legitimate disabled persons ID's that entitled them to their permits...one took the time to explain her condition and actually thanked me for checking...

Unfortunately no... I haven't... didn't even know it existed, lol.

Couple things to add to my watch list though.

The only cartoon I watch right now is Rick and Morty.
