Hello:

Learning about cigars and new to the forum; looking to split infused lots such as Acid, Tatiana or others you suggest. I would ideally like to keep no more than 5 per lot so my wife does not kick me out of the house.

Please let me know if you are interested and open to lot suggestions.

Many thanks !

Split them down the middle and then throw them away.

Good evening and thanks for you creative suggestions and encouraging words :)

I guess I deserve it, introducing myself as an infused cigar smoker to such a knowledgeable crowd is not a good first impression. The issue I have faced with my first cigars was an unpleasant aftertaste of old soap bar; for the record, they were NOT soap bar infused ! So I started exploring Connecticut's (light, floral, citrus yet not very complex) and a few infused (you can give me grief once again :)) As to darker ones, I very much enjoyed a Gurkha Centurion - "soapless" - and enjoyable to its last draw.

So if anyone is willing to give me a second chance, please recommend me a few cigars that are complex, with little charcoal notes and a rich aftertaste. Needless to say, no soap notes please :)

Thanks and best regards,

HT

Swisher grape is tasty but recently I heard the pineapple is better .....

Other than that:
AVO XO Intermezzo ... kinda light, medium body at best, with a creamy taste and dried fruit (like you get in trail mix) after taste

espenosa crema ... starts out with a bit of white pepper and adds a touch of toast and cedar flavor. Too light for me and not exactly "creamy" reminds me more of freshly strewn hay

espinosa laranja reserva ... here's your citrus cigar, flavorful, eventful, toasty with a touch of orange zest/pepper and mellow (my #1 pick for you)

Gurkha seduction ... medium body, toasty. Almost a roasted nuts flavor with pepper as you pace thru the burn

some others that fit the bill:
Ave Maria Immaculata (I'm burning a soloman now)
Rocky Patel Decade cameroon (love that cameroon wrapper!)
Graycliff 30 year vintage PGX (mmm toasty)
CAO La Traviata

and, well a bunch more. My advice to you is buy 5'ers and if the smoke isn't to your liking, store the remainder in a well monitored humi for a few months minimum and try it again. Hell, I wait a year or 10 on some of them! Makes a world of difference most of the time.

Oh, and sell those infused yard gars to the unsuspecting dude down the street
