I’ve got an inbred that works for me from time to time. On the first couple of jobs he worked, he’d drag up after a day or so.

Now I pay him by the job. No $ unless he is on the job every hour of every day we are onsite. Pretty reliable now. Now I know if he shows up on the first day he’ll be there everyday.
