Arby's beef n cheddar slathered with copious amounts of ArbyQ and Horsey for lunch, then found out I have 9 months of employment left but now I'm enjoying home made nachos with sliced fresh-from-the-garden jalapenos, cold beer and a fine cigar .... what a day! (but no stinkin Blackberry pie, dammit)

Happy Friday fellas.

Wife's going outta town so I gotta wake up early and play dad today.

Maybe I'll hitch up the camper and take boy n dogs camping for the night if I can find a site.

Adopted a new dog today.... Small Lhasa Apso abandoned and brought to Muttville. Her name is Freddy (or Freddie?) She's got a number of mammary tumors, we'll take her to the vet and see how much we can get taken care of and see how long she lives.

Well.... we'll have as much fun as is remaining. She's a fospice dog, so they're already considered in hospice and terminal.
But she's going to Tahoe with us tonight....

4 day weekend, eh? Mine will start Sunday... through Wednesday. I'm fishing Monday... and Tuesday if Monday doesn't go so well.

Taking my former sergeant with us, and he has no passport, so we have to go out into the open ocean looking for kelp paddies instead of fishing the Coronado Islands in Mexico. Searching for paddies could be a boon or a bust.

I'm staying optimistic.

Woke up at 0430 and couldn't get back to sleep, so I made myself a cup of coffee and a big plate of "fried spaghetti" for breakfast.

Ex-wife adopted a Lhasa apso many years ago. Her name was Useless. Perfect name. She ran off one day. We didn't look for her.
