Judge T.S.Ellis has had several threats recently over the Paul Manafort case.

Mr. Manaforts attorney called no witnesses and didn't cross examine many witnesses and little LYING PAULIE NEVER TOOK THE STAND...

OVER 2? DECADES the guy allegedly "earned" or extorted or took bribes totaling
$60-65 MILLION BUCKS and never reported any FORIEGN bank accounts under his name plus never paid taxes on most...if not all of that money...HE BOUGHT EXPENSIVE CLOTHES, HOUSES, CARS AND HIGH CLASS UKRAINIAN WHORE GASH...WITH ALL THE CASH.

IT'S PRETTY SAD WHEN YOUR LAWYER doesn't call any witnesses or cross examine the ones who do testify...wonder how much $$ dinero he's paying this wiz kid lawyer...
Sounds like a cushy job to me.

This tactic ^^^ is used all the time in criminal cases where nothing is to be gained by testifying and all the witnesses are KNOWN LIARS.

THE FBI IS NOTORIOUS FOR PAYING OFF LOWLIFE CRIMINALS WITH IMMUNITY TO LIE ON THE WITNESS STAND...MUELLER HAS DONE THIS COUNTLESS TIMES AS A LAWYER AND DURING HIS TERM AS THE FBI DIRECTOR...HE INTIMIDATES CRIMINALS TO LIE ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE HE WANTS "GONE" ...SHORT OF HAVING HIS SSG DIVISION KILL THE PERSON UNDER HIS DIRECT INVOLVEMENT AND DIRECT ORDER TO MURDER U.S. CITIZENS HE DEAMS AS "undesirables".

Meanwhile, MUELLER FLIES TO NEW YORK @JFK AND SHAKES DOWN RUSSIAN OLIGARCHS IN THEIR PRIVATE JETS AND STEALS MILLIONS IN CASH SUITCASES WITH THE HELP OF CROOKED FELON FBI AND FBI-SSG DIVISION AGENTS ( THAT HE PAYS OFF ) AND KEEPS THE RUSSIANS MILLIONS IN CASH, FOR HIS OWN PERSONAL USE...

MUELLER IS A LOW-LIFE SCUMBAG.

I'm guessing Manafort's team decided not to defend because they feel the prosecution did not make it's case.

or that cross examining or calling new witnesses might take the whole thing down other paths still closed off at this point...

everyone does understand this is not about the election stuff, right?

cynics say it's an effort to squeeze his nuts to make him sing about the election stuff...but his shenanigans are worthy of prosecution by themselves...

pundits who say that he wouldn't have been prosecuted but for his ties to Trump should point to anybody else who has a similar record of fraud and deceit...and the DOJ will thank them...
