Some otherwise big news have been lost in all the drama surrounding Trump and his closest campaign peeps, Manafort and Cohen, who have been found guilty of numerous felonies...

Two members of Congress who were the first ones to endorse Trump for President have been charged with serious felonies. Chris Collins, Rep. N.Y. (R) was indicted for insider trading. Now, Duncan Hunter, Rep. CA (R) has been charged for fraudulent use of campaign funds...

Look at the goofy f*k @HUD..."the surgeon BEN VEREEN"
HIS wife bought a $25K desk and other high end office furniture...

All these politicians think they get a free pass to spend any campaign money on personal stuff , vacations, gamble at casinos...fly private jets...even the Caucasians go all wacky like a DUECE on payday...

Timing on the Hunter indictment is unfortunate for the GOP. Coming after the primaries, it probably handed a red district seat to the dems. A little earlier, and R's would have someone else in the general.

The political reporters in CA seem to think there will be a "blue wave" in the state, with 9 or 10 seats possibly flipping.

I really hope there is no blue wave anywhere.

Dems should want nothing to do with governing as long as Trump is pres... Let him succeed or fail on his own with a republican Congress. If the Dems have any control at all he will blame every little thing on them. He already tries to...

When was Cohen found guilty? He took a plea deal. Plenty of his tax charges dropped and his "lawyer" Lanny is busy running his mouth for the DNC.

Your wish will likely be realized. Trump's base of support is very solid, with more than 85% of registered GOP voters strongly supporting him ... and he's a master at motivating them to get out and vote. By his constant attacks on the media and the investigators, he's turned the Russia investigation into a positive for himself and the GOP.

And to the cons and the GOP, he's a whopping success...tax cuts for all, especially the wealthy donors who pay for PAC's, pro-business executive orders, pullbacks of Obama's regulations by letting businesses crap on the environment (f*** the tree-huggers...climate change? psssshhht), tough talking nationalistic approach in foreign affairs and immigration (America first), and lack of effort or scant attention on behalf of the poor and minorities (lazy free loaders)...all this with a strong economy ... and power to choose the next SCOTUS justice...adds up to a con MAGA.

Not enough "purple districts" with demographics that favor Dems (young, college educated and diverse) to ensure a flip in the House. The Senate will likely retain a GOP majority too.

He plead guilty which means in the eyes of the law he is guilty. <-------- That is a period.

you can try to spin and play games but in the end Cohen himself says he is guilty. As part of the plea they usually make you attest to things like you really mean you are guilty and are not playing games.

In this case I'm not even sure he got anything for it. To my knowledge this isn't one with strings.

I lost track now. How many of Agent Orange's inner circle and earliest supporters are now convicted felons?

Will there come a time when the good people among the cons and GOP say they have had enough of the corruption, unethical behavior, lack of integrity, dishonesty, self-serving, double-talking, fabricating, lying and lawlessness that has consumed the party of Trump?

Delta, at one time I thought so. But the answer I think is politicians will do what they think will get them reelected. I think if Trumps support drastically fell, say to 25% among Republicans just to throw out a number, then Republican senators and representatives would denounce Trump thinking it would help them be reelected. Politicians are really a parliament of whores. All of them, not just the Republicans.

Yet another political thread? I tell you what, I think y’all should have a contest about how long Spey or Victor can go without commenting on such threads, the closest to the actual time in between will receive a Liga Privada T-52 from me. So, what are your guesses, gents? Lol
