Had a pretty large order last month so decided to look around for some single bargains to pick up. Several were mistakes that I will never make again but was pleased with two that have stood out

Grabbed a couple of LGC Series R's for $2 (ok, $2.25 with shipping). These were some of the first premium cigars I had when I got back into more serious smoking a while back when the Mothership had a special on them. Had not had them in a long time and pleased that they were as I remembered. Well made, tasty, good long burn. Very well packed but with an outstanding draw. Will have to grab some more sometime. I had read somewhere that E.P kept control of this blend somehow even after he sold out, they couldn't mess with it and, if that's true, it was a good thing.

Also picked up some LGC Wavels that I think were one of the blends they came up with after EP left. It was true to its name as it burn was very wavey right from the start. Surprisingly, however, I actually liked the flavor profile better than the Series R. Spicier, with a nice salty, savory undertone. It did require a couple of touch-ups but it was worth it for the price ($1.75 and $2 before shipping).

I know I get snobby sometimes with the big companies offerings, but if I can score some more of these at that price will do so again.
