true...but Furyk doesn't have any wiggle room because Phil and Tiger have the career records and previous Ryder Cup cred and have played with some degree of competitiveness...leaves two spots...Finau and Dechambeau seem to be the faves for those...

according to SI: "Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson, Justin Thomas, Patrick Reed, Bubba Watson, Jordan Spieth, Rickie Fowler and Webb Simpson are the players guaranteed to represent the red, white and blue at Le Golf National in the end of September." the same article makes the case for Tiger and Phil...
