Al always liked paying way too much for beyond their prime veterans. The bowl haircut, idiot offspring is now doing it with coaches. Family tradition. Let Chucky prowl the sidelines for the last year in Oakland. Eventually, one of those fans will bounce a D-Cell off his noggin and turn him into a drooling vegetable.

The Raiders of the 70's were truly a pirate ship and they were great. They've been coasting on that reputation for close to 50 years now. **** em.

I am no fan of Gruden.

He's a wrecking ball to any organization that hires him. With the Bucs he decimated a Super Bowl caliber team with his Offensive VS Defensive locker room antics. He jettisoned Pro-Bowl caliber players (most likely because they were a threat to his power grab and laughed at him to his face!) and his draft record was an absolute train wreck. The only person on the planet that has a worse take on player talent is Mel Kyper! A mere 2 years after Chuckie was fired from the Buccaneers all of his picks were out of the NFL! His show on ESPN was a laugh a minute.

https://youtu.be/1TGWT3s-s88 The guy was high on crack! I bet he brings him in!

The Raiders knew what they were getting with Chuckie. They love them some Chuckie. Witnessing the same dismantling with another team is hard to watch, but they knew what he would do and paid him a boatload of money. At the end of the day he's going to be the only guy getting paid on that team. The regular season hasn't even started and you can already put a fork in the Raiders on not having a winning season.

Not if they win right away. If Trubisky can be half decent they have gone from a competitive team to a playoff team with potential for more. I like this move after watching them do nothing for years. Finally feels like they are trying.

Now if they had only of traded back for Watson instead of up for Trubisky.

Another team that cannot figure out how to use the draft to get better.

This move gives them a window to act on right now. A once in a lifetime player. The 2nd coming of Lawrence Taylor. A beast that puts fear into QB's eyes and Offensive coaches brains.

Besides...Chuckie will draft players with those 2 first rounders that won't be playing ball 2 years after the selection anyways!whip
